  1. We stayed in the hotel for several days in September 2022. While the view from our top floor apartment was wonderful, the entire hotel is in great need of cleaning and upgrading. The hallway carpets were filthy, walls were in need of painting, and mildew in the bathrooms. The biggest issue was with the spa. After receiving a hot stone massage, I developed a painful and unsightly rash on both legs. When seeking treatment from a doctor, she stated that is was likely the result of not properly sanitizing the stones between clients resulting in bacterial growth. When this issue was surfaced with the general manager, he assumed no responsibility and suggested that it was the result of some other cause. The area is simply beautiful, but this hotel is far from a luxury experience.

  2. Not bad at all. The hotel is big and has spacious rooms. You can see the entire building start to need maintenance. Would not say the hotel is in bad condition, but it’s time to maintain, renew and redecorate. Rooms have a good TV (clear and good picture quality) stable Wi-Fi. Also nicely equipped and very good king-size beds!

There is a huge parking garage below the hotel. Great during hot summer or rainy weather. So no parking issues and you can park your car safe and for free.

The spa is nice but not too big. Can be crowded. Same goes for the indoor swimming pool. It is small and during our stay it was full with (screaming) kids. The outdoor pool we didn’t use as the weather was not too good.

We opted for the buffet dinner in the hotel. It was a bit overpriced (34 EUR per person) as the option for the main dish were quite limited and very simple. It all tasted average/good. The fries were cold. We stayed for dinner at the hotel as there in neighbourhood were not too many restaurants. Most of those restaurants had bad reviews or were closed (October)

The breakfast was very good. Lot of options and tasty. Unfortunately no cappuccino.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive.

In my opinion the hotel is a bit overpriced. The hotel is more close to a four star instead of being a five star. Better maintainence is needed for that.

  3. Not much around the hotel but the hotel is great. It’s very close to golf at Troia which is useful, but a little to far from Comporta which is where all the bars and restaurants are. Good quality hotel though, lovely service and a fabulous breakfast. Haven’t tried dinner yet but hoping it’s better than the rest of the marina.

  4. The best view in Tróia added with a spectacular service… Good place for holidays… Price accordingly .

  5. The hotel has amazing view but you need to pick the right room as not all rooms have the same nice view
The service is good in the restaurants
Breakfast is open buffet with several options
Dinner was nice though options were limited for me
It has one open air swimming pool and another one indoor
The gym is quite small area
The interior design of the rooms was a bit old for me and needs some renovation
I liked the bathroom in the room

A little bit out of the way but every room has amazing views. Food in the restaurant very good. Be aware that although warm in October there is often a thick sea mist shrouding the view. The pool is not heated! and is 4m at the deep end. Rooms are a good size beds comfortable.

Great hotel located right on the beach in Sintra providing beautiful views of the sea and sunrise/sunsets. Walking distance to several restaurants and bars as well. Free parking on site. Breakfast is included. Rooms are modern and feel new. Balcony is much appreciated. Will stay here again whenever we’re in town again.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach built into the cliff with gorgeous views of the ocean. This is one of most stunning views of a sunset in Portugal while at the same time you hear the waves crashing onto the beach. The hotel staff were professional, gracious and friendly. Special kudos to Rui who was extremely helpful to us. The large 100 meter pool was closed and doesn’t open until May.

The restaurant served a very nice buffet breakfast that had everything you’d want for breakfast. Again the staff there were extremely friendly and helpful.

    A great place to stay.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent. The room had a view of the Ocean and the pool. Elegant restaurant with delicious dishes and with lovely staff.
The rooms were okay, but I thought they would be higher quality.
The parking lot is a bit tight maneuvering, but this is not a surprise; we are in Portugal. I wish that could be more air conditioning in the building.

My friend and I booked this place for a night as we were passing through and truly wish we could’ve spent the rest of our vacation here! The pool, being off season, was empty (therefore closed), but the gorgeous ocean views and huge, very clean, room was fabulous. Check in was seamless and the gentleman at the front desk was charming. Parking was free and on property. I took wine down to the restaurant to ask them to kindly open it for me and everything smelt delicious. Breakie the next morning was also a delicious spread. I hope to return in the future!
Also, there were lots of spacious communal areas which would be a welcome escape from one’s traveling partners if needed! 😉

What an absolutely fantastic hotel. From the minute we walked onto the resort we felt like we entered a divine sanctum. The setting, the rooms, the service and attention to detail are absolutely top notch! The staff is incredibly friendly and does everything it can to make your stay memorable. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve had at a hotel! We booked via skylark which gave us some great perks.

We loved our short stay at Vila Vita. The staff were all very friendly, approachable, and extremely helpful.
The swimming pool and spa were always clean and very relaxing.
Very accessible, the cobble stones were rather difficult in my wheelchair, but they have buggies to take you anywhere on the resort with no problems. As a wheelchair user, I was able to access the room, bed, and bathroom. All restaurants were very accessible and accommodating. We loved the Adega Portuguese restaurant always made to feel extremely welcome. Your water or wine glass was never left to get empty. Daniel, the manager, was exceptional.
The beach on the resort is not accessible unless you are able to navigate down a cliff side. But this was not a problem as the Vila Vita has a free luxury taxi, which will take you to an accessible beach, which was excellent.
We didn’t want to leave as we were treated like royalty for our entire stay.
Thank you for the best week of my life

Wish we would have stayed longer, amazing breakfast and all the things you want put of a spa resort. Pricey but worth what you pay for, especially after a super long sleep deprived trip. Staff was exceptional, inviting, and accommodating. They came and got us on a golf cart so we could watch sunrise

A beautiful resort located about 20 minutes west of Albufeira. The property is perched on the cliffs above the beach with amazing views and stunning grounds. The staff are friendly and professional. The accommodations are spacious with nice outdoor spaces as well. There is a spa and many dining options. We will be back.

Beautiful resort. Can’t wait to go back. Loads of restaurants and we loved the pitch & put. Every single staff member we encountered couldn’t help us more – they were all a credit to the owners. Direct access to the beach from the resort. Loved it
