While the area is beautiful and rooms spacious, the amount of lounge chairs, restaurants and pools seemed quite limited with the amount of guests that were there. The housekeeping was top notch and our room was freshened up daily. The food on the other hand left much to be desired. Breakfast was the best meal, the reservation only restaurants had descent atmospheres, but again lacked depth of flavor and overall taste. We had a terrific time going out for meals, but having paid for this all inclusive hotel we would have preferred to have had good food in house.

We recently stayed here with family. We found the walls pretty thin, making it difficult to get proper sleep. The breakfast was okay, as well as lunch was good with excellent home made pizza, natchoes burgers etc. Our complaint was the buffet at dinner, as it was not great. If you were lucky to get a reservation in the Al-a cart restaurants, they were pretty good. Staff was very friendly, helpful and this is a family/kid friendly resort. Location is excellent, with great restaurants in the area. So, we would just go out to eat instead of the dinner buffet. We had a good stay, but probably wouldn’t return as we prefer a quieter resort. If you have kiddies, you will enjoy it!

We wanted to leave a review because we felt like the reviews we saw prior to coming did not reflect our experience whatsoever. We loved our experience at Royal Solaris. Food was amazing! lots to choose from, restaurants were great (different menus throughout the week at each one), pizza and omelette bar were our favorites. None of us got sick and we tried everything. Always options for the kids at the restaurants. Entertainment was great! We really enjoyed the shows we saw (Mexico & Superheroes). Staff was very friendly and eager to help. I felt that the bartenders at the bar facing the ocean were not friendly all week and seemed miserable, but other than them everyone was lovely! Neymar was especially helpful. He helped us navigate our first few days. He wasn’t pushy when we told him we weren’t interested in becoming members – he did his job but didn’t waste our time! Check in took less than 15 minutes and was easy and quick. Our room was clean and was well cleaned daily. Awesome resort if you have younger kids! Our kids loved the kids club area. Staff in there were excellent! Beach is beautiful and even though you can’t swim in the ocean, we still were able to dip our feet in and play in the beautiful sand. Resort is definitely a bit older, but we thought everything looked great. The booking system for the restaurants is kind of silly- we didn’t have any issues booking until our last day, but they gave us a table even though they had lost our reservation. We went to downtown San Jose twice in cabs and never had any issues. We loved downtown, went to the little art walk on Thursday, and went to bilingual mass and the little coffee/ice cream shop on Sunday. Lots of cute little shops. We would return to this resort and would definitely recommend it! It’s not a “five star resort” but I still feel like it deserves 5 stars!

It’s a mix feedback. Visited with family for a week, location is great. You can spend a good time with your family. Issue is with the restaurants inside hotel, though it’s a all inclusive hotel, very hard to get a booking in the restaurants, seems always full. On breakfast and lunch you would get really bored with similar food everyday. Also, not much activity from the resort for kids. Evening shows are very average. Overall, I would say a nice hotel, but not worth of all inclusive experience.

We usually do not do all inclusive resorts… but our daughter and son-law were going for a week with their 4 kids, so we joined them.  Getting through the airport was a bit time consuming but once we got to the hotel resort .. all that changed.  The staff greeted us at once and took care of all the required check in formalities and check in was smooth.  The resort has great amenities and pools along with a kid’s club for the little ones. The food was great and was changed from day to day, so it was not like a normal all inclusive we have been to in the past.  They also have some great ala cart restaurants, and they also changed their menus daily.  The pools are heated and clean and well maintained.  The rooms and room cleaning were also great along with the cleaning staff. The beach out front was great for long clean and safe beach walks.  We just stayed a week so there is no real reason to leave the confines of the resort but if you do, and we did one day there are a lot of close shops within walking distance.  I would not hesitate to try this place you will not be disappointed.

Warning: This resort may have ruined me for every other hotel/resort. From the moment you arrive you are treated to luxury, from the incredible view to the cocktail they serve you as you sign in. The staff is the friendliest, most attentive I have ever experienced. You will want for nothing while you are here, and if there is something you desire that is not present, they will make an honest effort to deliver it to you. The personal concierge is ever attentive and ensured that I had the most comfortable stay possible. The restaurants were all top-notch, leaving nothing to be desired in the way of service or taste. The property is gorgeous, the pools are the perfect temperature, and the rooms are spacious and plush. I could go on and on. I will absolutely be returning, hopefully for many years to come.

I will say this when you walk into this hotel prepared to be blown away by the view. The flowers are amazing From the balconies of the different rooms. You will instantly feel as though you are in paradise as you are greeted with a glass of champagne. This place is all inclusive and pretty pricey but well worth it in my opinion. If you like a luxury experience with your family and are prepared to pay a few extra dollars and maybe worth your time to visit. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant and courteous. The breakfast buffet provided a little bit of everything that allows one to indulge in their hearts desire. I only visited the steak and seafood restaurant but it was a great experience. The food came out delicious and I really enjoyed it. The beach is also accessible by walking and lounge. Chairs are also provided to lay as close to the water as you can. But again the water is choppy and it’s not worth swimming.

We have gone to Grand Velas Los Cabos twice, and it is by far our favorite place to stay. Everything about it is top notch. We’ve felt completely pampered both times we’ve gone! The employees are phenomenal, the food is delicious, the amenities are great, and the overall experience is unbeatable. Sometimes at all-inclusive resorts the food is pretty average, but not at Grand Velas! The food is fantastic. The atmosphere and vibe is so unique in each restaurant which makes it so much fun. We have recommended Grand Velas to all of our friends, and I know we will be back in all the years to come!

Staying at Grand Velas is like living in a luxurious, benevolent surveillance state. The staff is incredibility attentive and kind.

Our butler frequently came to find us around the resort and make sure were were enjoying ourselves, and she was always accessible through WhatsApp to answer any question or schedule any activity.

Our room was cleaned and made up with great attention to detail and our mini-fridge fully restocked every time we left, but we never saw the housekeepers.

Every meal we had was excellent, and every restaurant was proactive and careful regarding my wife’s nut allergy.

A really nice touch is that all the staff carry around receipts they provide you after meals or drinks at the pool which you can use to write tips that will be deducted at the end of your stay, so you don’t need to carry any cash around.

We’ve been disappointed with various luxury hotels/resorts we’ve stayed at since Grand Velas. We are coming to realize that there was nothing wrong with those places – Grand Velas is just that good.

This was the best, most luxurious vacation we’ve ever taken! Everything from the room, the spa, the pool, the gym, and especially the restaurants and service, was incredible. Our concierge, Jesus, went above and beyond and truly made our stay excellent. The food is amazing at all of the restaurants, even the buffet! We chose this resort because it was near the top of a few “best food at an all inclusive resort” lists, and our expectations were far exceeded. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and have everything you need. I can’t say enough great things about this place! We already can’t wait to return 🙂

  1. Had the best time at this beautiful hotel! Our family (group of 21) was celebrating my mother’s birthday. The service at this hotel is 2nd to none, everyone was so attentive and when they knew were celebrating a birthday, they went over and beyond to make it special. David, Roberto and Jose were our servers for breakfast, they were absolutely wonderful. Daniel and Oscar were our servers by the pool, with such a large group you would think they would be overwhelmed, but there weren’t. They made us feel like we were the only guests there. Lastly and definitely not least I would like to say thank you to Alejandro and Miguel, they helped me coordinate some special requests for the celebration that required a little extra work and it was AMAZING. I can’t thank them enough! See you soon!

  2. What a fabulous place to stay! Everyone was polite and very helpful. The room with a view (2903) was breathtaking! Large showers, soaking tub and comfortable beds made our stay extra comfortable. Food was excellent. The Peninsula restaurant was our favorite place for breakfast. So many good options for dining we didn’t try them all. Loved the pools and the spa. Would love to return sometime.

  3. Alejandro is the best contact you can have at this resort!! He goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is as comfortable as can be. We had a destination wedding here in December and he made sure that our guests were well taken care of. For any excursions or off-site activities, he can get them booked for you. This is our third time staying at the resort and all the employees are fantastic. The food is delicious and the overall environment at Grand Fiesta American is first-class. We can’t wait to go back for our 1-year anniversary.

  4. We had our daughter’s BIG, FAT, INDIAN WEDDING spanning several days and several events in January 2023 at the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos All Inclusive Golf & Spa. I give them a STRAIGHT 5 *****!!!! The resort was everything you could want. We were greeted with drinks upon arrival. There were plenty of pools for the little ones and a swim up bar for the adults. There are a lot of activities each day including yoga, exercises, water aerobics and dancing classes. Each restaurant had EXCELLENT food with lots of menu options. The drinks are plenty and the food is endless. On top of that, room service was 24/7 and housekeeping came every day. Everyone has a balcony and we saw TONS of whales breaching. The golf cart staff was ever ready to drop you anywhere at the resort. There were shuttle rides to the town for sight-seeing. EVERY SINGLE PERSON who worked here was polite, respectful, attentive, helpful, and always ready to help. We never saw anyone with a frown. Each guest felt seen and valued and you don’t see this anymore. A resort we will never forget. I will be back!

  5. We chose Fiesta Americana as the location for our wedding February 2023 and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this resort! The level of service from start to finish was absolutely incredible and they truly exceeded our expectations in every way. The location was gorgeous, the staff was kind and welcoming, the restaurant options were all phenomenal, and the rooms were also great! The resort was perfect for our family, friends, and the kids club was great for the young kids. I highly recommend staying here for any occasion!
