Right on the beach! Beautiful grounds, very kind and friendly, helpful staff. Restaurant onsite had a great breakfast.❤️ Shutters Bar had wonderful entertainment nightly. Some technology issues with the room key FOBS, but staff worked hard to resolve. (Never did tho) Beds in the rooms were a bit harder than we were use to. Housekeeping kept rooms readily clean. Pools were clean, very cool temperature wise. Overall, a nice experience.By Carey B (2 months ago)Good choice for families and centrally located with easy access to other areas of the island. The beach is beautiful, though the surf is a bit rough for swimming. It has a great pool complex, but lacks quiet areas for adults to relax. Guest rooms are refreshed but do show their age. Highly recommend the one room suite for its spectacular view of the pool, gardens, and beach, and its expanded space and large bathroom.By michael barnett (6 months ago)Stayed in a king room with a pool view. It was pretty nice, not super impressed with the room but the view was nice. The toilet ran, the shower head was loose so there was low pressure and the water ran down. Bed is very soft. And the ac would randomly shut off at night so the room would get warm. Those are the negatives, but the positives are the location is great. The property overall is beautiful, the views from the room are good, the spa was nice. We got a massage the first morning we were there and it was great. The pool is nice. There’s even a water slide.By Marc Pichon (5 months ago)This is a beautiful resort and the grounds are lovely – you can belive their photos! Every single staff member I interacted with was absolutely amazing. They were friendly and helpful at all times. There’s an excellent spot to watch the sunrise on the beach. The restaurants are nice, if a bit pricey. The room was comfortable and clean. I very much enjoyed my week stay here and would definitely stay here again.By Laura Vasser (3 months ago)We stayed at the Kauai Beach Villas and had added to the Beach Resort Amenities. You can tell the property owner is doing several improvements and renovations to the property. It’s not brand new, but the central location for exciting the island is perfect!! The seclusion of the property (very uncrowded beach with wide open views in both directions) is really wonderful and my kids enjoyed beach walking so much! We found plenty of crabs, fish, sea cucumber, sea urchin, snails, shells, and coral in the little tide pools along the shore. The surf is rough, no swimming at all, but the beach is beautiful to sit and enjoy or walk beside. Our kids LOVED the variety of pools, which never felt crowded. The restaurant and cabana bar were both good and we ordered several meals.By Miranda Johnson (10 months ago)

Honestly probably the nicest staff I’ve ever encountered. Everyone was so lovely and helpful every step of the way. The newly renovated rooms are nice, very clean. Standard hotel rooms but well done. The property is beautiful, the pool is great. We only really ate breakfast onsite but that was always good. Very close to the airport but somehow we never saw or heard a single plane. Very centrally located if you’re planning on going all over to see all ends of the island. My only gripe is that the have a pocket door with paned glass for the bathroom, so if you have to go in the middle of the night you’ll wake up your suite mate.By Christopher Chappel (8 months ago)One of the nicest resorts we’ve been to. The grounds are very tropical and lush with Koi pond and Asian artifacts. Enjoyed the outdoor seating overlooking the pool. Rooms were large with comfy bed. Bathroom is extra large. Enjoyed the rain shower. But would recommend you bringing your own shampoo and conditioner. On site restaurant was good for dinner. Typical for breakfast.By Harold Criger (2 months ago)We absolutely loved the resort. Booked through Costco package and everything was perfect. Car self parking wasn’t extra ( unlike what some reviews said). Also a lot of complimentary benefits from resort fee such as 1 appetizer, 2 drink at in-house dining and access to fitness & culture classes. The highlighted centre pool was magnificent and a perfect area to relax while in the resort. Only disappointment was Kalapaki beach as it was just an average beach.By Arun Mohan (6 months ago)Got a resort pass for the day which included a day bed. Ours faced the bay and was perfect for our last day on the island. Got there about 1030 and left about 530 when they told us they would like the cushions and the towels as they were cleaning up. They said we could move to the pool chairs and could stay a while longer if we wanted but after a day of drinking cold beers and enjoying some of the strongest Lava flows, we were ready to go. If you have time, head to the bar by the pool and order another round and some potstickers! Some of the best we’ve ever had! Will definitely go back!By Gregory Trujillo (4 months ago)The hotel is nice and the rooms are great! Wait staff is out of this world amazing BUT…. The people who work the desk/reservations/hospitality absolutely suck. No one communicates with each other. Everyone says one thing then some one does another. We have been charged and recharged for rooms. We have canceled rooms before our visit and verified the cancellation after checking in and we have been run through the ringer and charged multiple times. Every day some one new calls and tells us all is well then they call and tell us they have billed the credit card. We are exhausted. And will never return.By Jessica King (a month ago)

The view as u step into the lobby was breathtaking. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. Our room wasn’t ready when we checked in. but without skipping a beat, we were given complimentary drinks and an appetizer. The view from our room was spectacular. (Just a heads up… our room was VERY far away from the lobby…so be prepared to walk a lot and don’t forget anything when u leave your room.) The property is gorgeous and well maintained. I recommend making reservations at Tidepool for a wonderful dinning experience!
I just can’t say enough great things about this hotel!!!
Our stay at the Hyatt was great. Staff were polite, resort was well laid out, a ton of pools and good dining options. Breakfast was delicious. Overall gorgeous property. Only thing I would say is that there were a lot of kids there which is obviously great if you are coming with your family but as someone who is on their honeymoon, not quite the vibe we were looking for, otherwise excellent resort!
Had a great week there on our honeymoon. Justin in the club room was especially accommodating! He was so sweet and helpful. My husband and I always enjoyed talking to him when going in there. The hotel was just absolutely beautiful. Made a lot of memories there that we will never forget! Hopefully we get to visit again soon in a couple of years!
We stayed at the Grand Hyatt during our Hawaiian honeymoon. Our resort experience was spectacular! There are tons of options for drinks and dining. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The pool area was massive, and we never had to fight to find a placed to sit. The service was excellent, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. We were treated so well as honeymooners – we had a beautiful display on our bed when we checked into the room, and were gifted a bottle of champagne with chilled glasses that we enjoyed on our spacious balcony. I would absolutely stay here again!
Great resort. Beautiful gardens, huge pools that are open 24 hours and great facilities. Free self service laundry was also a great bonus.
The hotel is absolutely enormous. The walk from our car to our room was genuinely about 8 minutes, and we were at the start of the long corridor of rooms!
There is several restaurants and shops on site, but not a huge deal nearby if I am honest. If your planning to mostly stay at the resort though it has everything you need.
Our room was spacious and quiet. It wasn’t ultra modern, but still very good quality finishes and we had plenty of room to put our bags and spread out our belongings.
