At time of purchase I did request single beds in each rooms for each person. They did ask how we wanted the beds to be set up. But on arrival this was not the case and they were unwilling to give what we had arranged and paid for. But overall we really enjoyed our stay. Love the family friendly factor. Love The facilities that they have to offer. Staff were super friendly. The views are gorgeous, The apartments are comfortable, facilities were awesome and the fact that they have a heated indoor pool and an outdoor pool, playground and games room for children make this place an absolute must stay for a family.
Given the fact we were staying 4 days, there should have been a few more supplies such as toilet paper + soaps shampoos, sugar, tea, coffee supplied. But at our request they had no hesitations giving us some extra.
The onsite restaurant is over priced but the food was nice. I wouldn’t go to the restaurant again given how expensive.By Becky’s Blossom (6 months ago)Stayed in a studio room, was one of the best stays on my trip. The room is lovely (the views from our balcony were wonderful), the room service is convenient and helpful, and we loved playing tennis and air hockey. The restaurant is pricey but delicious. Our neighbors were a bit noisy and we could hear a lot through the walls, but we managed. Walking around the grounds is pleasant, and it’s nice to see other guests enjoying themselves.By Lucy Van Dyk (3 months ago)Sensational views!
No matter what time of the day I was completely lost in those views. Great walking time, lovely surroundings, nice facilities. Comfortable accommodation but needing lots of of TLC.
Lucky, I was too busy to spend more time in our accomodation as I was attending to the business conference.
Very good food selection and taste.
Recommend to anyone who is looking to get away from the city to enjoy nice time with great views.By M S (5 months ago)A great family resort but the apartment was a little run down (worn carpet and furniture). The resort facilities were great (pool, playground, jumping pillows and lots of green space). Location a bit out of town so need to drive anywhere, however views are great.By Brad Frew (5 months ago)The resort itself was fantastic. The only thing that brings my score down is the service. We had 3 meals (2 Dinner 1 breakfast) and all three times we had missing items and over an hour and a half long wait for very mid food, as well as its very overpriced. If you come here you’re better off driving to the island for food. However the rooms and facilities on offer are greatBy Nathan Morrow (2 months ago)

We only had dinner here at Sunsets bar and grill. We didn’t stay here. We saw our friends room it was beautiful and had so much storage space. There was a big king size bed and tv, with coffee tea and mini bar fridge. We were pretty amazed. Best location in Cable Beach areaBy Georgia Rogers (a month ago)Have stayed many times before and it was always great but they have changed. Won’t be staying there again. Adults pool was closed and had been for a week but they didn’t tell us – we only found out when we went to the pool. that pool was the main reason we came. When we complained they offered us a $100 food voucher for it – not even close to enough when you’re paying $400/night with the main draw-card being the poolBy Rhys Cooper (3 months ago)We didn’t stay at Cable Beach but we went to Kichi Kichi for dinner and then took a look around the resort. So beautiful and relaxing. It’s like another world. We loved the huge family pool AND that there was a separate equally big, deep pool just for adults. We were greeted by friendly and professional staff who welcomed us in and looked after our bikes while we enjoyed a delicious dinner by the pool.By Jessica Cargill (3 months ago)Had a lovely 2 nights. Lorraine at the tour desk was really helpful and friendly. Got some great things happening for us.
Italian restaurant was yum.By Di Donnelly (3 weeks ago)Oh my goodness! What a place to stay! My third trip here and it never disappoints. I had a pool terrace room which led out to the adults only pool. That’s not R rated! Just, no children. There is a beaut family pool though near the family bungalows. Staff are wonderful. Aircon is sublime. The little airport shuttle needs to be booked in advance and is $5 each way. The driver delivers your luggage to your room.By Sari Jacobsen (3 months ago)

Thanks so much for an incredible weekend! We’ve stayed here many times before, but the hotel service and standards were better than ever this time. Sincere thanks to Andrea, who (on hearing that it was my daughter’s birthday) went above and beyond to make us all feel very special from the moment we checked-in. We absolutely loved the pools, the food, the room and the kids kept saying they’d had the best weekend ever! Thanks so much for a really fabulous stay. We’ll definitely be back.
This should have been a 5 star review. The hotel was incredible. The staff was amazing, and the majority of the experience during the day was fantastic. Unfortunately the experience at night was not so good.
When I pay as much as I did for a 4 night stay in a premium hotel, I expect to be sleeping on a cloud, not a sack of rocks. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have slept on in a long time. It was hard, lumpy, and seemed to be about 20 years old. I have a chiropractor appointment to try to fix my back after my stay.
I talked to the manager about it and he offered to change rooms for my last night, but he said that all of their beds were pretty much the same. Instead he offered a $150 food credit. This was a nice gesture. It would have been even nicer if he followed through with the offer and actually applied the credit. I’d did not show on my bill.
A beautiful hotel and an amazing stay!! The JW Marriott provides the perfect combination of elegance and warmth. I wanted a holiday for my sister and my birthday, somewhere we could relax and where my elderly parents would also feel comfortable. The staff at JW were all so welcoming and friendly and really helped us feel at ease. My father was not able to eat at the buffet due to health reasons and everyday the staff were so accommodating providing him with a separate meal. In particular Gina our server was so lovely. The pool was outstanding and my absolute favourite and the birthday and welcome platters exceeding expectation. Thank you JW Marriott for our wonderful stay!
I recently stayed here with my family and was blown away by the level of kid-friendliness and the amazing staff. From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and entertained. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and my kid had a blast. I highly recommend this location to any family looking for a fun and enjoyable experience.
The staff is truly top-notch and made our visit unforgettable. 5 stars all around
Stayed here with my hubby and 16 month old for 5 days last week.
Overall was a lovely stay however a few things missing.
Firstly for a 5 star hotel you would expect comfortable beds. Our king size bed was very springy with very little comfort. This for me is a major deal breaker!
Other things like, limited room service menu, extra charge for an omelet and the disgusting BBQ smell in the evenings which took over the entire hotel where major draw backs for me!
On the upside, very spacious rooms, extremely friendly staff, water and ice dispenser, amazing lagoon pool, cleanliness, were what made this place lovely.
Other things to point out, on check-in staff were very welcoming but on check-out were run off their feet and we felt very rushed. Overall a pleasant experience.
