  1. If staying in the Freycinet area and looking for a special place to stay you can’t go past Freycinet Lodge. An added benefit is the location close to many of the walks in the area. Each room is spaced beautifully along the bay hidden conveniently amongst the bushland. The rooms are well appointed. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The restaurant is supreme with a wonderful menu for special occasions. We did the Wineglass Bay Cruise whilst there and the boat conveniently picked us up from the Freycinet Lodge wharf which avoided the drive to Coles Bay. This is one accommodation place you won’t mind spending a little more on.

  2. Excellent hotel, great location and friendly staff. We stayed for two nights and were welcomed with sparkling wine and chocolate in the hotel room fridge. After returning from our hike the staff had left some relaxing tea bags for us and a cute welcome back note.
There are two dinner options on site, a restaurant and a less expensive bistro. We enjoyed two delicious meals in the bistro. Breakfast was excellent too. Highly recommended.

  3. Amazing team and accommodation! We went here for our honeymoon and the team there went out of our way to accomodate us and make us feel special. Special thanks to Jane who responded to a mini crisis we had to keep us cool and enjoying the day. Very close to the National Park which is great for walks and has spectacular views. We will be coming back!

  4. Stayed for two nights. Spacious, comfortable accommodation, with free mini bar stocked daily. Our room had a spa and was a short walk to the idyllic beach. The lodge facilities were first class and the breakfasts were excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

  5. We stayed for 3 nights. On the first night, there was an issue that the lodge could not have been aware of in advance. The issue was resolved quickly and very efficiently. The staff in all parts of the lodge were so friendly and efficient. We had a most pleasant stay for the 3 days. The lodge is so well placed and has excellent facilities and food.

We were warmly welcomed by the office staff and local destinations highlighted. We had a night in a cabin, although it was an older style cabin it had everything that we needed. The bathroom was a little pokey, but who cares when all you need is to have a shower, use the toilet facilities and brush your teeth?

We had a lovely view over Coles Bay. My husband and 2 of my children had the best time fishing off a local pier at sunset and I am sure they will remember their time for a while longer.

The communal showers provided were clean and provided an excellent shower when we all needed to shower. Laundry was available at $5 per load (for both the washing machine and drier).

This park is in a great location however facilities are definitely dated and the overall maintenace felt a little substandard. Our site was next to a cabin and there was certainly no privacy for us or them. The grass behind the cabin was also not maintained and was growing up through the timber of the deck on the cabin. The site itself was appropriately sized for our needs but could imagine they’d be small with a bigger set up, ie. Large caravan. The playground was enjoyable for our 10yo although she said there wasn’t as much as other parks we’ve stayed at. Amenities were clean enough however had a pretty bad smell and unfortunately were very poorly ventilated so after people had started using the showers at night they got very steamy and condensation made everything wet. I did like that the showers are not temperature or timer set. Unfortunately our stay was made less enjoyable by our neighbour’s who were obnoxiously loud into the evening. To the point we could hear every word of their conversation with their guests at 10pm from our camper trailer. I do prefer a park with a noise curfew. Overall, probably wouldn’t stay again as there were no stand outs for us but it did the job on this occasion for us.

A very nice cabin close to the beach and with friendly staff. Comfortable, warm and modern with a full kitchen. We couldn’t connect to the wifi from our cabin which would have been nice for the price.

Close to a beach, shops and tavern. The camp is clean and caters to a large range of campers. The park has good facilities. We stayed in the on-site cabins which are comfortable enough but pretty close together. However that’s pretty normal living in a caravan park.

Great location. Right near the beach & handy to shops (on site). Has everything you need. The cabin I used was clean & fresh. Not far from other attractions. Certainly a must for campers & glampers. Definitely a place for 2nd & 3rd visits.

Loved it! We stayed in a Premium Waterfront 1 Bedroom Studio. The AC was on when we arrived so the room was nice and cool. So clean and very comfortable. Bathroom had the best natural light I have ever come across. Had everything we needed, plus more. Well designed with plenty of space to lay out your things. Great view of the bay and a short stroll to the water where we had a fabulous swim. The bed was super comfy. This was a last minute booking and although a bit more than our usual budget, worth every cent!

Very friendly and helpful staff who are more than happy to go above and beyond for their guests (we also love Ted). We stayed in in one of the new waterfront chalets with views you simply cannot beat. The room was modern, comfortable, clean and quiet. Thanks for having us, we’ll be keen to return soon for another relaxing stay.

    Epic spot!!!

Perfect location right on the beach. Can hear the waves breaking as you sleep at night.

Not much better than just relaxing on your patio listening to the waves with some snacks & beverages.

Great location from which to explore Swansea. We walked into town everyday.

Great location to get your ocean or beach on! We brought our paddle boards and got out regularly! Lots of swimming too!

Units are nice & clean and have a stove, toaster, kettle & microwave to give you lots of flexibility.

Staff are incredibly nice and welcoming too!! Many going out of their way to let us know of events going on in town or offering up various amenities.

This is our second of many future stays. We love it!!! We will be back!!!

Clean, spacious, well maintained & well appointed 2 bedroom chalet- ours was sea facing & had magnificent views. Close to the main road, easy few minutes walk to the beach, park, shops, restaurants, pub & cafes. Pool, BBQ facilities, children’s playground on site. Great value for money. The only issue was lack of promised wifi connectivity!

Missing fly screens on windows, gaps in curtains, bathroom door needing fixing. I usually take based on the quality of the shower but these other things need a mention first. Shower lacked pressure but was otherwise adequate. Cabins only had provisions for two people so you’re buggered if you have guests. View is bloody awesome if you scored a beach front cabin (we were one row back but still pretty decent and only a short walk to the beach.
