We loved our stay for a two day friends vacay during the off-season! The cabins are right on the water and the views of the mountains behind are absolutely gorgeous. It was quiet, peaceful, and so relaxing. We came to escape hectic home life and definitely found peace and solitude up here. Would definitely come again.By Lydia Batke (a month ago)Beautiful spot. Cabins are so cute and very clean. Perfect west coast beach. Lovely winter spot for some storm watching. We loved our stay, wish we had longer there.By Christina Zanatta (2 months ago)Beautiful ocean front campground, thats been taken care of so well. Large sites, power, water, super clean bathrooms, hot water. Gorgeous beaches and playground. The owners really put in the work and have taken all the best steps to make the best campsite imaginable. 10/10By Grimey Muck (a month ago)Tucked away on North Vancouver Island this amazing place is a must stay. From the beautiful beach to the Estuary and on to the spacious camp sites Cluxewe has an abundance of outdoor experences. The grounds and amenities are clean and well maintained. Big thank you to the staff and managers for a wonderful stay.By Ken Knopp (6 months ago)Great camping with an unbeatable view. Stayed here for the Canada Day Long Weekend and really enjoyed our stay. Not much privacy but most people were very respectful, so it wasn’t an issue. Washrooms we’re clean and easily accessible, well priced firewood, and not too expensive. Would love to stay here again.By Adam Langiewicz (9 months ago)

Everyone at the resort was kind and very welcoming, although there was some confusion with our reservation, it was all sorted quickly.
The rooms were clean, cozy and the view was stunning! We got to see eagles, sea otters and harbor seals out of our balcony. The resort grounds are beautiful and have a nice area for lounging, walking and watching the fabulous sunsets.
The restaurant was just starting a new tapas menu. The items we tried were tasty but a bit small and the price didn’t seem to reflect that. They did have some nice local beer on tap.
Overall, a wonderful experience!By Ana Joana Gorjao (9 months ago)Amazing location, very comfortable bed. The property needs some work (paint, roof cleaning, garden/yard work) and the spa, hot tub, and restaurant were closed as they did not have staff. It would also be nice if the office had a few basic supplies and snacks. Still, it was enough just to sit outside and stare at the sea.By Laura B (7 months ago)If there are more than 5 stars, I would love to rate it that. We recently visited this resort. I have no words to explain our peaceful experience this place provided. Very warm welcome by Jackov. Cleanliness everywhere. Rooms were also clean, well-maintained with all the required stuff you may need in perfectly working condition. Then it comes the most important part; food. Restaurant staff was so courteous, humble and caring. I would like to special mention about Tammy who made our eating experience so blissful with her presence, manners, customer service etiquette and so positive behaviour. She is an asset to that place. Jody was also very welcoming. Food was very tasty. More than that, the view from hotel was WOW! So, overall, we loved being there and would love to go again.By Ish Kumar (9 months ago)The view was absolutely amazing from the room and the restaurant. However major staffing issues closed down the spa, hot tub, shuttle to the sister resort which has the pool that we wanted on a very warm day. Also waits times ar the restaurant was extreme long. The entire resort shut down at 8pm with no activities. Very unorganized did not even have playing cards for sale or to borrow. Location was amazing however lack staff affected the experience. The resort was amazing however no communication of shut downs made for a bad experience.By Taylor chivers-wilson (9 months ago)Easily accessible by short ferry ride from Campbell River. (10 mins ish) with a short drive and large parking lot.We arrived and were checked in fairly quickly, the front desk worker was great to explain the accommodations/restaurant situation and also was able to point us at some nice spots to check out on the island as it was our first time visiting.
The room had a mini fridge, water bottles offered as water was not drinkable. The balcony had an amazing view of the water and a lot of wildlife viewing just from our room. You’re able to hear the eagles chanting, seals and we got a view from a couple whales swimming by at sunset.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a decently priced getaway area. I have no complaints and as you can read from the comments most are from the restaurant not the accommodations themselves.

We had dinner in the Dining Room at the hotel. It was great. My partner and I had a half caesar salad each and the braised short ribs. Both were excellent. We were here last year and think the food is better. Its gone from good to excellent.
Beautiful spot.
We had a small queen room. Great view from the balcony. No AC and no TV. Great opening windows and a fan for good air circulation.
The bed and pillows were wonderful.
The grounds are beautiful, and the restaurant is really good.
Great price for a great location. We will be back!!
Went for dinner just after 5 when they opened. Asked to sit outside and was told they are not serving outside tonight but yet 30 minutes later the restaurant was nowhere near full and they seated a party the same size as us on the patio. Order calamari and scallops for appetizers. The scallops were a small portion but both were excellent tasting. The mains were Halibut and Thai Curry with prawns. Both had ZERO flavour and the Thai curry had no sauce and the 4prawns were small and rang up an additional $10 . It seems almost impossible to make food with such little flavor. Total disappointment for $35-$40 plates.
I ate at their restaurant almost exclusively once I found it. The seafood soup was one of the best soups I’ve ever had. The prime rib and Yorkshire pudding and vegetables were perfection. Even the horseradish was hot. The mussels were exotic and in an absolutely delicious sauce. The service was informative and cheerful, and delivered some excellent cocktails.
We stopped for breakfast here and wow! Beautiful view off the deck and the food was incredible. We even complimented the chef and he came out to talk with us. Then when he left everyone on the deck applauded him, so we obviously weren’t the only ones impressed with our breakfast.
