This place is amazing !
1. The beach is beautiful and quiet, the pool is beautiful and big
2. The staff were really kind and helpful.
3. The room was clean and had everything we needed. we were a family of 2+3 young daughters and the double double room was big enough.
4. The breakfast and food for lunch/dinner in the hotel was really really good.

Broken outside furniture at the beach doesn’t make an impression of 5 star hotel at all.
The whole ambience of the property seems to beg for renovation.
Staff at the phone line was helpful, reception – to be trained. As long as we were not able to check in on time (no problems with that at all, we do understand), we witnessed several quite indifferent conversations with guests re their inquiries.
Boat transfers were sharp in time and quite guest friendly.
Beautiful location in a private bay.
Please also note its a family resort, so lots of kids there, noisy and not tidy because of it. So if you are looking for a quite and relaxing place, you’d better make another choice.

This is the only good words that I can said about it.
Too many inconvenience.
The biggest problem is the only and SAFE way to get out or going in is by boat. This services is not enough to cover the demand of the people that the hotel has. The only solution is to walk by the track monkey which in my opinion is not safe and dodgy or to rent a boat which will cost cost you around 70 US dollars.
About the room is big, is beautiful but old equipment.
I mean very old if you have on mind the price of the hotel.
Food doesn’t has relation between price and quality, is average food with a huge prices.By juandavid colmenares (6 months ago)Centara grand is an experience, calm and great location of hotel makes it a very serene and private experience. Rooms are great but they lack pool villas. They have jacuzzi villas instead.
The hotel is well made and maintained food is great services are good. The private beach is really beautiful you can rent a kayak and go around too.
The only route to reach is through the speed boat whose timings are fixed and the monkey trail which isn’t really safe at night for travellers so hopping islands isn’t very easy.By Atishay Jain (a month ago)Heavenly location, I really cannot recommend it enough. You basically have a private beach in between the cliffs and mountains and it is just breathtaking.

Great location, great rooms, great service! The hotel was clean, the breakfast was yummy, and the staff was very helpful! Airport transfers out of the lobby so take advantage. On the beach with 2 pools, which was so nice! Towels and chairs are available at both ocean and pool, which was awesome! I would definitely come back! This is a really great place for families. But I think it’s not intended so much for couples as most of the rooms in the hotel have a connecting door to the room next door so you hear everything from the room next to you. There is also very bad noise isolation for the windows overlooking the pool so you can hear kids screaming.
After upgrading to a room without a connecting door, we got a room with a constant engine noise from some pump until we got upgraded for free to a better room. I would still say that the service was very good and respectful of our time and money.
This is our second visit to this cozy place. The pool access was wonderful and spacious. Our daughter loved bunk bed which was well designed.
Overall, the ambience was great and staff was so helpful. Surely, we will come here again!
One of the best resorts in Aonang. Amazing service. Friendly & helpful staff. Typical Thai hospitality. Great location by the beach. Only a short walk to the main Aonang strip.
There are 2 pools, a gym, kids room, spa, souvenir store, beach bar & pizzeria. Didn’t get to try any of them though.
Rooms were clean, comfortable & well appointed. Lovely views for the ocean facing ones. We slept well all 3 nights. Huge selection of cable channels. AC was super cold.
We celebrated our Anniversary & they decorated the room, surprised us with a cake & card. It was really sweet. What a welcome.
Breakfast was good. Good variety of local & Western. Plus plenty of juices & fruits. Love the seating & best seats has to be by the pool. Does get busy but turnover was quick.
Overall the best hotel I’ve stayed in Krabi. Will surely return & highly recommended.
Great location. Just a few minutes walk from the crowded main street and pier(good for shopping and finding good foods) but sits on its quiet beach corner and rarely bothered by the other visitors. Food could be improved. Considering paying the same price in Bangkok Marriott and here in Centara, the food is not so good. Great staff! They really try to think for you and help you before you ask! And they always have smile on their face.
Stayed here for the majority of our honeymoon, where we booked the Corner Pool (comes with a private plunge pool.) Received a wonderful warm welcome from the staff, who were helpful and friendly for the entire time we were there.
Location is great— near enough to the main road to be able to shop, eat out, get around, etc., but far enough to have a bit of peace and quiet.
The private mini pool was great as it had a lot of coverage from the sun and we didn’t have to fight for a lounge chair. It could have been more secluded but then we also would have missed the view of the ocean. No complaints about the room.
There was no “deep end” in the swimming pools— Max height was around 1.2 meters in all the pools. Fun water slides were available in one of the pools.
Live music on certain evenings was lovely and the performers very talented.
Breakfast buffet was fantastic, recommend the Thai breakfast options and fresh fruits. Prices were much, much higher than the surrounding area for lunch and dinner— Even drinks were quite pricy.
Easy to arrange excursions with the hotel itself or nearby tourist stalls. Easy access to Railay via long tail boat from the beach and the Monkey trail is close by.
