Lovely quiet place to stay so close to mermaids rocks and canal d’amour. If you are looking for non party holiday stay, this place is great. Lady called Angelina at the hotel was one of the sweetest and nicest people we met on holiday. She cares about holiday makers so much and has amazing customer service skills.
P.S. Please note water is non drinkable in most places in Sidari, if you enjoy non salty cup of coffee, buy your own water.

Trip up the mountains to Pagoi James Bond location site 1981 for the movie For your eyes only. Had coffee and cake in cafe Spiros. Loads of photos and memorabilia in the the cafe. Very pretty small village. Roads were appalling but worth it for the scenery and a chat with evei daughter of Spiros. She showed us phot albums and copy scrips from 1981. Lovely experience and the village hasn’t changed since filming in 1981. Went back to Sidari via the coast 10 min drive and roads much better than over the mountain.

Staff were rude . No drinks in room at all … not even a bottle of water, teabag or coffee sachet.. went down for breakfast at 8:30 am .. and had a glass of juice , only to be reprimanded by staff and spoken to like a naughty child! Def would never stay there again.. thankfully it was only a 1 night stay until I met my family at the 4 star resort just up the road which was AMAZING

Very nice stuff, big rooms, clean. This place is located next to d amour canal and a lot of restaurants, shops and bars. One downside is that we were there for 5 days and the breakfast was the same everyday, but at least tasty

Poor wifi connection in my room, the air conditioner doesont work properly, very salty bath water, they have around 50 rooms and only 5-6 parking space and two of them were always occupied by staff members
good things: profesional and friendly staff 10/10, very close to the beach and a lot of restaurants

Hotel is close to the beach, we had a sea view from our room. Very quite hotel no children, if you want peace and quiet then this is the hotel for you. They do have entertainment on some evenings, which finished at 11pm. Our room was clean on arrival, and we had no issues. Food is very nice but not a lot of choice. We were only there for 4 nights. The town is brilliant lots of holiday tat shops and bars, restaurants. Staff were very friendly and spoke Good English, which was nice as I cannot speak Greek. Cocktails are nothing special, small plastic cup of more colour than anything else. Your better off with a rum n Coke or you can pour your own beer. All in all nice and quiet and simple.

I couldn’t fault this hotel. The place is exceptionally clean and rooms are nice. Staff is very nice and helpful. Food is fresh and good selection. We were able to go into the dining hall any time of night to get hot and cold drinks including beer and wine. I would stay here again.

We stayed here last week and there was a real mixed reviews of pros and cons.
    PROS;
    – Staff friendly and good English
    – Lovely location. Lots of restaurants, shops etc and so close to the beach.
    – Pool and communal areas where clean and up to a lovely standard.
    – Easy to get drinks and always a bartender on duty

    CONS;
    – Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the room, which is normally fine but you can’t get very good data service either
    – Our room was not cleaned ONCE! We arrived on a Wednesday, and had to go to reception on Saturday and ask for clean towels and more toilet roll to be told the cleaners had been sick. They did drop off fresh towels. Then Tuesday night around 6pm, the cleaners arrived to clean and said “you complain at reception”, but obviously we said don’t bother as we were getting ready for the evening and leaving the next day.
    – Beds were never changed
    – AC was dripping every where
    – Shower would fill up and flood as it is not a real shower tray. Just a shower screen stuck on the floor
    – Food is ok. I am a bit picky (not the hotels fault, I know) but there was max 5 dishes available so were constantly having to eat out
    – No real hotel atmosphere in the evenings so would go out for drinks etc

Overall I would recommend Sidari and the location of the hotel, but probably not the hotel itself. The cleanliness and basic-ness really let it down and didn’t feel 4 star. It would’ve been an acceptable 3 star, in my opinion.

The hotel was really nice and clean. Big thumbs up for the hotel restaurant – there are many vegetarian options. The pool is quite big and warm.
Cleaning services took place quite randomly, but it wasn’t much of a problem because the rooms are generally clean.
The atmosphere in hotel is rather calm. After 11pm there is a guy from reception walking around and telling the guests to be quiet.
Also, the place is located just in the middle of Sidari – great access to many pubs, restaurants, beaches. That’s a big plus.
Unfortunately there is a stingy river just next to the hotel. We could even smell it’s odor near our rooms! That’s the biggest disadvantage.

We visited in august 2022, the staff was super friendly probably the only great thing about the hotel is the staff. it is definitely not a 4 star hotel tho, looking at the food, rooms, pool, etc. if it was a 2-3star hotel I would have given them a 5 star rating but for a 4 start hotel it was not good!

Firstly the food is ok and the options are very limited, I know usually hotel food is not good specially in all inclusives, tho I thought since the options are very limited, at least they offer better quality, but that is was not the case. You’ll get 5-6 options for VERY AVERAGE food. Most drinks are awful imho, the Coca Cola tastes strange, probably something wrong with the syrup or the proportion they mix (no idea), the wine at the hotel also horrible, just had a sip of red wine and couldn’t have any more. the glasses in the kitchen area are full of stains, once a glass I had was full of dust , my napkins was black after cleaning the glass, perhaps that happened during the day, but still I think it’s the hotel’s responsibility to make sure everything is clean.

The rooms are serviced every 2 days which is different that other 4-stars hotel that we know of. So you’ll get new towels every 2 days and your bed sheets are changed every 3 days. To me thats crazy!

The most annoying part was the mattress cover!!! they were too small for the mattress and were purely placed so in the middle of the night you find yourself sleeping on the bare mattress(without the covering sheet), I think it’s so simple, just get bigger sheets so you can tuck them in properly. We told the hotel manager about it and they immediately sent someone so that was nice but that didn’t solve anything, it was the same cover tucked in the same way! You just need bigger covers.

there’s no bin in the room (only in the toilet) there’s yellow stains around the toilet and the shower door didn’t look clean.

All in all this was a very good 3 stars hotel, if you want a 4 star hotel with 4stars facility probably better to pick another hotel.

  1. Absolutely abysmal – Left after one night!

Completely unacceptable level of cleanliness and hygiene. Broken light upon arrival, door wouldn’t lock properly as well as dirty tiny room with dead bugs and unclean switches and floors. Didn’t expect too much but disgusting place to be frank.

Light was fixed after we complained but then found hairs in the room and they didn’t clean or replace towels. Door lock was fixed after we said we wanted to leave!

Shower leaked onto bathroom floor then into room. Generally unclean and felt disgusting, not comfortable at all.

Appreciate there’s different levels of expectancy but basic level of cleanliness not even met. Reception staff and manager seemed nice and wanted to resolve, but reluctant to come and see & appreciate issues. General feeling that they didn’t care. Though did agree a refund and we left.

Breakfast fit for a prison. English breakfast but not well done at all, cheap, no alternative continental or healthy options, terrible, watered-down tasting juice!

Location is ok but opposite very noisy karaoke bar that runs very late and pool areas and loungers didn’t really feel worth using after the initial experience we had. Much better hotels for the same money out there, we moved on and feel so much better for it, at less money! Avoid.

  2. I would have to say possibly the worse hotel ever. I had been stolen from in the hotel and on reporting a male member of staff became confrontational that I was accusing him. He was English so there was no verbal misinterpretation.

The room was dirty and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. The shower leaked all over the floor and we had to use towels. No repair was forthcoming. Go elsewhere this place is all fur coat

  3. We have just come home from here and we can’t recommend enough. Staff are lovely! Nice food, amazing air conditioning! I saw the pool checked everyday. Beautiful dragonflies fly around the pool 😍 rooms cleaned and fresh towels everyday if you want. Entertainment really good. And it’s right on the doorstep of everything. Beach, main Street For restaurants, night life and shops on the right. Supermarket a minute away on the left.
All things to do on the beach right in front. Very good location. Two pools, in front and at back.
Any issues they will sort right away too.
Thank you for a lovely holiday!
    🥰

  4. Just spent a week there (july2022) booked on impulse, didn’t read reviews, didnt know what to expect, just went for location, ( beach) being across the road. The hotel is nice enough, small room, but I’ve seen bigger ones, so I guess if available, you can request a bigger room, we didn’t, as not bothered, was there only to sleep. Chose half board, to have options, and did eat there some days of the week, its a la cart, and the food was nice, and catered for everyone. Breakfast was the same every morning, full English, but also other bits, personally loved the yogurt and fruit. The hotel was clean, but what made this hotel was the staff, who were the most nicest, helpful people, nothing was too much trouble, and very accommodating. A big thankyou to Anna, ( sorry I can’t remember the other two lovely ladies names) but you know who you are!
