I read a lot of negative reviews before staying here, and I disagree with them. This is a beautiful island resort. The coffee at the bar is fantastic, and the outdoor amenities are abundant. I love that we can get hot dogs and burgers while on the beach or at the pool. The buffet is good and available most of the day. Most of the staff we’ve encountered have been helpful and friendly.
I brought our own pillows and toiletries and am glad I did, but the room is very comfortable and perfect as our home base. We rented a car for not very much and are able to explore the island freely using the resort as home base.By Hazel Curry (8 months ago)I guess best way to describe this resort is a nice affordable getaway. If you are looking for 5 star or expect 5 star while only paying for 3 star, you will be disappointed. If you want 5 star and decide to cheap out, manage your expectations for this resort. The people are fantastic, the location is ideal as you are about 10 minutes from the airport, and just minutes away from excursions, shopping and dining. The buffet has a nice selection of regular fare and local cuisine, but would not be considered 5 star. The resort is clean, fun, and the entertainment and bar drinks are plentiful and not watered down. Our room was nice, but dated, and the safe was out of order, but a call to the front desk took care of it the next day. Checking into the resort was chaotic, as almost our entire plane was headed here and the resort was and likely will be, ironing out the kinks to get everyone checked in as quickly as possible for some time. We were able to enjoy the resort while our rooms were getting prepared, and they stored our luggage until the rooms were ready. The beach is fantastic, but the recent hurricanes have washed away some of the sandy bottom of the beach, so wear water shoes to make the swimming more comfortable and safer for your feet. There are some rocks in the water as well, but nothing of any real concern from my perspective.
Overall, I was satisfied with my experience here, and I would return for nice economical getaway, but would not return for a high cost vacation.
By Greg Moriarty (2 months ago)Our overall experience was just okay. The beach and the ocean were the best part of the trip. The buffet was decent, but we weren’t happy about the VIP section in the restaurant. For the price you pay for an All inclusive hotel, everyone is VIP. One evening, we reserved dinner at the Italian restaurant. Our server decided to leave without letting us know. We were left waiting for our dessert only to find out that the server never put in the order. The supervisor tried to make good for our servers inadequacy, but unfortunately, it fell short. The music selection was okay. We would have preferred a better mix of some slow and some fast instead of all fast. We would have enjoyed some slower dancing as a couple, but everything seemed to cater to the younger people. The drinks were pretty good, but again, if you wanted a specialty drink like Bailey’s Irish Cream or Drambuie, you have to be VIP. We weren’t even able to buy it! This is a rule that needs to change.By Derick Bailey (6 months ago)It was okay could have been better overall. The staff wasn’t all that friendly and picked and choose whom they wanted to greet show around the hotel/ tour guide etc. The staff was a bit rude as well. My favorite part was the beach and the outside decorum which was very beautiful. The food was average. The one restaurant I went to was very nice and the food was better than what was served at the buffet. The water sports was okay but felt like I had to literally do EVERYTHING on my own. I’m on vacation and should not have to beg for assistance especially if I paid my hard earned money to relax and enjoy myself. No wash clothes glad I packed my own. Bahamas just feels slightly underdeveloped but has a lot of potential I might return but not to this particular hotel. Might have bugs in the hotel bed because I had so many bites on my skin. I know they have mosquitoes and whatnot but these bites were plenty and VERY VERY itchy. Would have gave 3 stars but 2 is the best I can give.By Sasha B. (7 months ago)I can see the hotel has 5 starts on its website. Way too overrated. We had an average experience there. The worst factors of our visits were food and some staff’s altitude. We don’t expect people dancing and signing for us, but friendly – even formal – approach is something that may make one’s day. I felt sometimes there as I should say sorry for visiting the hotel.
The food was average and boring. Hard to say more about it.
We went there in early November, but water in the pools was cold, I preferred during the stay to get into the ocean.
The rooms were clean, our sea-view one offered a spectacular experience. The beach is well maintained, the palm trees make boosted impression.
In overall, I won’t get back there and can’t recommend the hotel, however, for the ones that want to experience Bahamas without spending a fortune and may flat expectations a bit, that may be a good option.By Tomasz Odrzywołek (3 months ago)

This was a great destination for my wife and I, mostly because the service personnel were outstanding. Everyone was pleasant and eager to help. We were checked in by Jamal, who was extremely helpful and informative.
The room we were in was clean and modern, but several elements were not to our liking. The bathroom offers minimal privacy and would be a problem for any couple, not married or intimately involved. The door to the toilet is a partially frosted glass door, as are the doors to the shower and main bathroom area. The other side of the shower is separated from the room by a full-length clear glass window, covered by a venetian blind, that’s very easy to see through. The bathroom would be my biggest complaint.
The rest of the resort is fabulous and well laid out. The restaurants are comfortable and have good menus. This is not an inexpensive resort, priced similarly to Atlantis in Nassau.By Dennis Lee (2 months ago)I was a little concerned with the reviews I read prior to booking our get away weekend at the Hilton World Resorts. I shouldn’t have been. The hotel is beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was very good – admittedly not gourmet, but very good. The ocean club was lovely too. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip!By Janet Armstrong (2 months ago)Beautiful place haunted by the Starbucks at the entrance. Very poor service and attitude. But wait there is more….. the girl making cash deals under the table for drinks. Who knows what else goes on. Did you think that customers won’t notice? The boutique is very small and not much going on other than casino or water views.By Nelson Irizarry (6 months ago)Fantastic friendly service. Great food. Room was clean and had a wonderful view. Enjoyed the pools at the hotel. Only one bar open at the beach area and it was far away from both the beach and pool. Roaming server was promised but never came around either day we were there. Prices were a bit higher than I expected. Everyone seemed happy and went out of their way to be sure we were having good time.By Sally Kelly (4 weeks ago)The property is very gorgeous and well designed. It’s a beautiful hotel and resort but when it comes to the Bahamas you just need to manage your expectations.
The wait time for the food at the hotel restaurants were astronomical. Our appetizers took over 40 min. The bussers didn’t come back once to refill waters. The rooms were clean except for the floors where there was visible dust from the previous guests. The customer service wasn’t consistent. Some wait staff had attitude while others were friendly and welcoming. Namely the Starbucks in the lobby. We were given a $20 casino token upon arrival only to find out there was no money on it at the casino and the deal had expired. They closed the pool bar 1.5 hours before its scheduled closing time. The roof top pool bar was closed the entire time. The escalators were not even on. I do not know if it’s due to staffing shortages which are common worldwide nowadays, but still not great when you’re paying above average for the resort. The greatest disappointment is when the Virgin cruises are in port, the Beach Club is closed to paying hotel guests (including your $49 pr night resort fee). Again, the property itself is stunning and serene, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again given the prices.By Lauren A Hoffman (5 months ago)

The value for this place is great. We stayed 3 nights and we couldn’t stop talking about how great of a deal this resort it. The Staff is friendly- our cleaning lady Jasmine was so sweet and helpful! She always made sure we had fresh towels and our room was always clean. The beds were comfortable and the room are a nice size. We had an amazing view of the beach outside our window. The beach is absolutely incredible. The food both for the sit-down dinners & at the beach bar was really good! It’s also a short, scenic walk to the Baha Mar next door if you want to check it out (We walked to get starbucks every morning and the walk was very enjoyable we actually looked forward to it.) We got a taxi to an excursion we had near Atlantis one day and it was very easy and quick to get one with the Bellman and also no more than $25 for a 20 minute drive. I’m not sure if the taxis are affiliated with the hotel, but my friend actually left her phone in the taxi and the taxi driver brought it back to her within 10 minutes which was so nice of him. We felt very safe during our stay as 2 young females traveling by ourselves.
Overall- our expectations for Breezes was exceeded and I would recommend to anyone wanting to travel to Nassau on a budget! The Bahamas are incredible and nothing beats the hospitality and experiences you have there and Breezes made sure our trip was more than great.
LOVING the vacation at this hotel, not a brand new hotel but still very clean, well managed & maintained. Food and amenities are very good with adequate choice of food and drinks. This is a small hotel out of season so things are a little more laid back but still exception service considering. You’ll have a terrific time if you want to make the most of this and plenty of time to relax and chill out of that’s what you want. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, just what we needed, terrific value for money.
Highly recommend this resort over the larger resorts. First the price is reasonable, second it’s all inclusive, 3rd it’s nice a quiet especially if you are looking to have a nice relaxing vacation. The other larger hotels doesn’t offer all inclusive. The Grand Hyatt is a 5 min walk through the front or a 5 min walk on the beach where you get complimentary drinks when you are in the casino playing.
The location was about 20 minutes from the port. We took a taxi and did the all inclusive package as we were there for a few hours. The bar opened at 10 and the drinks were good. Everyone was friendly and took care off us. The property is a older resort and they are doing some construction. I am not sure if that was due to a recent storm or just upkeep. The lunch buffet was hamburgers and jerk chicken. The jerk chicken was good.
Here currently and it’s quickly becoming my favourite place! Check in was super easy and fast, the room is clean, the staff have been absolutely amazing! They offer a huge selection of food and also have an Italian and Asian restaurant on property. Entertainment is nice and the beach is just perfect! For the people complaining of messes, it’s the guests fault, we watched staff clean up and people just drop their cups and garbage even tho there is a garbage bin on the beach also those complaining about dated rooms- come on lol really reaching ! Anyway, great bang for your buck. Will most definitely be back!!!
