The hotel is just ok and nothing more. The entire hotel is stuck in the 80’s. Just look at the reception. There is a strange smell in the dining area. The ping pong table and pool table needs to be fixed. We stayed in the family apartment and we were a little disappointed. The apartment was full of spiders and webs. The water from the sink and shower smelled like the sewer. The shower hadn’t been cleaned properly. There was a empty box of ice cream in the fridge. The apartment had a smell of fungus. The beds were nice and soft though. And we were able to rent bikes in the reception which was nice. I don’t recommend this hotelBy Henrik Fløgstad (5 years ago)Nice sand, shallow water, but lots of smelly seaweed.By Andreas Andersen (a year ago)Best bachelor in DenmarkBy Jeppe Benneballe (5 years ago)REALLY – IT’S THE FINEST BEACHBy Oliver Hentschel (4 years ago)Nice looking hotelBy jacob ovesen (5 years ago)

Very well equipped camping with many facilities, everyone gets their designated space so there is no crowd. For 2 people and a small tent we paid 233kr per night which is a normal price in my opinion and the spot was available without the need for reservation. Hot shower costs 2kr per 2 minutes which is a fair price. The toilets and showers are very clean. We didn’t need paid electricity at the camping spot, but you can charge up your mobile for 2kr at the reception. In the morning there are fresh and very tasty buns and cinnamon rolls in the shop at the reception. Friendly staff. Distance to the sea is about 500-700m.By Krzysztof Kondratowicz (9 months ago)Completely worthless facilities. Out of four showers did two not work. If you like ice cold showers, camp here. If you do not use the neighbors campsites!!By Martin Jönsson (9 months ago)Luxury cabins we’re very nice. Great space and very cosy for a family of up to 6 persons. They had all of what you would need including an electric hob, oven, dishwasher, clothes rack for drying and typical utensils including garlic crush, bottle opener and corkscrew. My only criticisms are that the main chef’s knife was not fantastic and that although the environment was clean, tidy and presentable we kept finding black hairs throughout the week which made me question how thorough the cleaning was before we arrived. Otherwise, the cabin was the best I have ever stayed in and this would be a 5 star review.By Jebodiah’s Mate (2 years ago)Best and most beautiful Campsite in this world. I have come here since I was ten years old and it’s been my home throughout the summers of my formative years. It’s super family friendly, clean and has great cooking, sports and wellness facilities. It also features a great little store, a bakery and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. It’s super close to the beach and even closer to the world’s best soft ice! Which is – if you’re thinking economically – a huge plus, as you’ll probably be walking down there on a daily basis… and probably to the beach as well. Oh did I mention, that it’s got great amounts of shade? …talking of camping in tents…
Only thing I’d like to see return is a second fairly secluded camping area for people staying in their tents a bit further from the playground, which would also be tents only.
Though admittedly the tent camping area next to the Hoppepuden is great especially for people biking the island or young families with young kids camping in tents, because of the close proximity to the playground.By Fabi (2 years ago)Nice camping, very quiet and kids friendly. Beautiful sandy beach is just few minutes of walk. Family camping sites. Indoor swimming pools for adults and children and many more. If you are going from Copenhagen, you must go by car. Public buses are not frequent and if you want to see the island it is not a good idea.
The most amazing campsite I have ever been to. Staff, facilities, surrounding are all to a very high standard. Wish we were not leaving after five days. The beach has got to be one of the best I have ever been to. Great pitches surrounded by pines with space for a hammock. Staff are so friendly and accomadating. Facilities like the pool and family shower have got to be the best for a campsite.
Me and two friends had just a 1-night stay at the hostel but it was enough to appreciate the overall quality of the services it offers: the room was clean and with the essential stuff; the common kitchen was extremely well equipped so you can cook whatever you want, as there’s not much around the area if you want to dine out. The small kiosk close to the reception had few choices for food but enough if you’re not pretentious and just want to prepare something quickly to then hit the beach. As we had to checkout at 10 but still wanted to enjoy the beach a few more hours before leaving, we were offered the option to buy a one-time entrance to the swimming pool so that we could also have a shower (besides enjoying some indoor swimming, as sky eventually turned cloudy). Super recommended!
Loved our stay at this place and we didn’t even use the pool. Right in the beach and a fully equipped kitchen. We stayed in a room but you can also camp. Didn’t try the restaurant out. Place was clean and comfy!
Excellent value for this price. Our room was super clean, spotless in fact. Staff is really friendly. They accepted our late arrival and took our food orders after hours. Location couldn’t be better. The closest place to the world’s best beach
