  Food was plentiful with a good variety but not hot enough. No facility for re-warming if allowed. Unfortunately the lounge was shut off due to restrictions but I feel that could of been managed better with limited seating and adequately spaced out. Pool was good but not open long enough. It was only open from 11am until 2pm. When the guard left the pool the pool
  was out of use. Not much use for an afternoon swim. The gardens were well kept and surroundings were tidy. Adequate smoking area. Uneven floor surface around outside of the pool where I took a terrible tumble and badly hurt my hands, foot and knee. No first aid was offered and no recording of my accident. We had to go to nearest pharmacy for a plaster.

  Noise at the back part of the building was hard to tolerate. Rubbish collection including bottles was around 2am!! All deliveries with engines left running at all times day and night for considerable time. A good nights sleep was not had all week.

  I’ve been staying at this hotel for twenty years or so and have never been disappointed. The staff are helpful, everywhere is spotlessly clean and the food is excellent. It’s a SPANISH HOTEL so if you want chicken and chips every day then you’ll be disappointed. On the other hand if you want real Spanish food with a huge choice for lunch and dinner then this is the place for you.

  Simple clean rooms nice location although not right on the beach but certainly walkimg distance. Dated but not worn out. Mostly 55+ year old guests though..paradise for older folks with evening entertainment for them around the pool in the evening.

  Beautiful hotel with a privileged location right on the beach. Beautiful sandy small beach with bars and restaurants overlooking the beach. It’s our first stay and we could not fault it. The breakfast included in the price was 5 stars, we were presented with fresh orange juice, coffee, bottled water, pastries, cheese & meat platter, fresh fruit, then a fantastic cooked breakfast. Incredible!!! Our room had a large side terrace overlooking the sea. Although we did not eat in the restaurant it was very busy during our stay, a good impression. We will definitely return to the Hotel Manet, thank you for looking after us so well.

  Had breakfast on the terrace. Food was nice, location and views were excellent. Unfortunately, one of the waitresses was a bit rude and told me to stop trying to speak Spanish when ordering food. I explained that I was learning, but she just walked off… hmmm.

  Great location overlooking the beach. Food is also very nice but service is very slow and non-engaged due to the large number of people passing through. Getting a seat may be difficult at busy times. The ‘Alicante Paella’ (seafood paella with less rice, so more crispy) is very nice.

  Just called in for a drink – beautiful setting overlooking El Portet bay. Hotel rooms and pool look fabulous. Best location ever.
