Took my elderly mother here for a weekend birthday treat. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely, comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was really good, plenty of choices and freshly cooked. Dinner was very good too as was the carvery lunch. Perched as it is, overlooking White Sands Beach the view along the coast is spectacular. Definitely worth a visit.

I am 62 years old and have passed by this little gem of a hotel many times over the years on my way to Portrush without ever stopping at it.
    What a mistake that was.
My wife and I had the opportunity to stay overnight on Friday and were pleasantly surprised.
The room we had was very spacious with a huge bed in it, the bathroom was top notch also and the whole place was absolutely spotless. We had an excellent evening meal in the restaurant with stunning views out to sea, two course meal with bottle of wine for under £90.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful, plenty of places to sit and enjoy a quiet drink from the well stocked bar. Breakfast in the morning was included in the price and consisted of a hot food buffet ( eat as much as you want) also available was cereal and continental breakfast along with tea, coffee and juice.
    Overall Opinion
    EXCELLENT
    Will definitely be back

Went with a retirement association for the AGM. Room was spacious (68 people attended) with an amazing sea view. Lunch was great. Really good food….Turkey, ham, stuffing, veg, sausages, mash & roast potatoes or roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Good quality and plenty of it. 5 dessert choices all lovely too. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Clean toilets. Fantastic. We’d definitely come back.

Had a lovely Christmas dinner at the Royal Court Hotel Portrush today. atmosphere brilliant, food excellent, staff friendly and very helpful. Attended to my mum who is in a wheelchair, nothing was too much trouble. Always had a smile on their faces.

I went for lunch on a Sunday to the carvery. There were 14 of us. It was booked beforehand. Busy the whole time we were there. Would recommend booking. Great food, good selection and good service. Priced competitively.

Clean and tidy hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We had an issue with our first room smelling smokey – we were moved immediately to an alternative room with no hassle at all. The room was clean and tidy and the beds are comfortable. All the basics are there, such as tea, coffee, a few biscuits etc. The location is good and there is plenty of parking nearby. A short walk and you are at the many restaurants, shops, pubs, entertainment and amusement venues. Equally handy for a walk on the promenade or down to the beach.

We have stayed here a few times recently and we really like it. We have had a room with a sea view every time and you never get bored with it. The beds and pillows are really comfortable. There are complementary toiletries which were great as I forgot my shampoo. The staff are brilliant from front of house when we checked in and throughout our stay. Everyone was just lovely which makes the stay that much more pleasant

A big PLUS ➕️ for me is that you can book room only or B&B. We had the breakfast and were not disappointed. There literally is something for everyone. One of our mornings was particularly busy yet the staff took everything in their stride. We hope to visit many more times in the future

Stayed during the off season, but the location was good, and the room was clean. Very nice selection of food for breakfast and the staff was friendly. During this season it seems like the town closes a bit early with a select few places staying open. Luckily the hotel bar and restaurant have a good reputation and stay open late, so it is nice to have that option.

Very pleasant stay for 2 nights here. Staff are brilliant. Breakfast was very enjoyable with a good variety. Room was spacious with a great view. Would definitely use again if back in Portrush.

Drink prices shocking. Was hard to pick what we wanted in restaurant because they didn’t have the stuff. Two of us ended up with fish suppers and the other 6 had finished eating by the time we got ours. Also several of the orders were wrong. Staff were nice.

  1. The food was delicious. The service is very nice, also the gentleman in the parking lot was very nice. After entering the car park, you will pay £10 and when you come back from the Giant causeway, you can use the £10 you paid when you come back from Giants Casaway to the restaurant. Great service, helpful. On a scale of one to ten, I’d give it a twelve. Maybe next time I will use the accommodation. I highly recommend.

  2. Loved this hotel! They have so much to offer. Tickets to Giants Causway center included in the stay and it is right next door. Nice bar and restaurant located in the hotel. And more! The rooms were very nice and clean. All of the staff were very nice and helpful.

  3. Great hotel. Great location. Great food and awesome staff what more do you need. Must visit. We will definitely be back and start our yearly destination.

  4. This is a review for the restaurant. Like the other reviewers we paid £10 to park the car then we walked down to the Giants Causeway. As you can imagine it is very busy in this location, the owners of the Hotel have spotted a good opportunity to welcome customers. Once you return you can use the £10 towards your lunch. The hotel is in a great location and it was very nice inside. We had a lovely meal before setting off for Portstewart.

  5. Visited giants causeway .
Went to park in the visitor car park that would have cost us £31 .
Said to the attendant we just wanted to park and were told we had to leave the main parking area and drive to the top car park .
On way out noticed a guy from Causeway hotel and asked could we park at hotel .
He said it would cost £10 absolutely brilliant I thought .
He then gave us a voucher for the value of £10 and said this could be used in the restaurant.
So in truth the parking cost us nothing .
Went into hotel and we were greeted by gentleman who couldn’t do enough for us we ordered 2 coffees a scone and a drinking chocolate .
He took the voucher and said the bill was £4.25 .
Great customer service and price .
Don’t pay any attention to the numerous signs on the way to the giants causeway to pre book it’s all a scam .
Causeway hotel 10 out of 10
