The resort surpassed my expectations considering I’ve been to Cuba many times. The cleanliness of the resort stood out to me because it’s always an issue in most hotels to be clean all the time. Almost all of the food I’ve tried at the resort was good and had no complaints. There is a lot of activities during the day like beach volleyball and a bunch of water-related games. I liked the amount of showers and washrooms around the hotel, makes things simple. My husband And i love everyone here. They easily recognize us and are very friendly. The service is great, the show at night is very entertaining and the smiles on every staff”s face is just warm. I have travelled to Cuba several times and this resort is by far the best I have ever been to. They go above and beyond with the incredible service, the place is always so clean, we loved being by the pool and the beach everyday. We stayed in the room with the garden view and it is so well kept that we loved our view as well. Lovely pool with 2 bars including a swim up. Beach has white sand and warm blue sea, shallow too. Lots of loungers with a full bar service, paradise. The people were amazing, so friendly and helpful!
Lots of activities for parents from the beach to the pool to evening events too.
They have a kids club and a special water area for young kids too.
Food was fantastic and we had a huge selection to suit anyone.
I will definitely be coming back.
The room was great and the maid did something everyday to make it special.
I found that the local people don’t have a lot apart from a huge heart, taking clothing and things that may be normal for most of us will help so much and they will be hugely grateful.
I got looked after so well and will be back without hesitation.

Nice shows every 9h30 ,they are professional.team is friendly. Employees are working non stop in the lobby or somewhere else . Beach is beautiful and clean. Entertainment people have always ideas.
It is not easy to serve all customer sometime fast specially the hotel is full from all over the world with that they are doing their best.
I love the attitudes and the professionalism of MIGUEL, CHARLEY and all team who participate in the team show. Our Maid was a sweet lady.By Constance Simmons (2 months ago)The resort was fairly clean, it was a bit of a shock that people could smoke inside but definitely wasn’t a big deal to me and my girlfriend.We splurged on the star prestige swim out room and we loved it. The bed was fairly firm but comfortable and the decor was pretty nice, house keeping came every day and did an amazing job tidying up the room. The only downside to the room was the lack of privacy in the bathroom as there was a huge window looking into the main area.
The beach was absolutely breath taking and the water was so warm. It is a smaller beach so during busy season I could see it being an issue but it wasn’t while we were there. It was also nice that someone brought out our chairs and made sure they were clean everytime we went on the beach.
Understandably due to the economic status of Cuba the food wasn’t the greatest but I suggest paying a bit more for star prestige so you can have breakfast and lunch in the panoramic restaurant which seemed to have better quality food than the buffet and the bar upstairs just had better bar tenders I found.
Overall it’s a nice clean resort and I’d definitely come back in the future

– very clean rooms! And beautiful rooms design
– quite decent food, most of the days there was good variety
– nice people in the hotel
– clean pools
– 24/7 snack bar really surprised me, it was so good!Cons:
– weird smell in the rooms, seems to be from fresh paint…not sure though
– well I once sat at a table for 40 minutes, as an experiment, and no waiter came up to me. Although I regularly tipped them. It especially applies to younger ones – it doesn’t seem they know what they are doing there…They need more training, probably? But Marjory was always great!

Overall my family and I had a great time. We enjoyed the food, the beach, the pool and the drinks. I wouldn’t say that’s it’s a 10/10 resort , but it is Cuba and there is only so much one can expect/ ask for. The drinks were all watery, the pools were not very clean, and i if you didn’t have your own cup or bottle you wouldn’t be able to get a drink at the bar in the pools. It’s a poor country and finding resources is difficult, but overall we really did enjoy ourselves and most employees in the hotel tried their best to make our stay as comfortable and good as possible.
Overall, I wouldn’t give this hotel a five star rating if it were in any other country. But given that it’s in Cuba, I would say it’s a great hotel with all its accommodations. For my Cuban family this was a dream come true, an all inclusive hotel with drinks, food , pools and a beach. The Cuban people are very humbled and this hotel to them is everything they can dream of and more.
Moreover, like in any place there are workers who stand out positively and negatively. For the most part in this hotel they were kind, hard working and tried their best to make sure one had a good time.
Beautiful place.
The service was superb. Clean and well maintained resort. Several pools, and lots of art, statues and plant life throughout the resort.
The beech was amazing, clean and crystal clear water.
There were occasional dogs that would keep us company on our walks.
It is a big resort and spread out, so good for people who like to walk.
Just spent 10 great days at this resort. This was my second time staying, first since the pandemic. I’ve stayed at 3 other different resorts in Cuba, and Memories is our favorite so far. This is a very large resort that offers pretty much everything you will want to do and eat. The Beach is great, the pools are great. All the staff are friendly and working hard to keep the resort clean and pristine. I did have a few issues that came up, I notified the staff and they were quick to resolve them. the highlight of our stay was the Christmas eve diner they prepared for all the guests, it was the best meal that I have had in my life.
> We have stayed at Memories Beach Resort for two weeks holiday. In our opinion this is the best hotel for your money in Varadero. Great beach, nice clean rooms , many restaurants to choose from, very friendly staff and beautifully maintainned resort that is very spacious and clean.
> A few things that stand out are : dedicated customer desk that promptly deals with any issues that you may have, lobby bar that serving your drinks 24h and snack restaurant that never closes.
> There are lots of activities on the beach, at the main pool and theatre in the evening. If you prefer chilling without music and additional noise, you will find peaceful sanctuary at quiet pool and north side of the beach.
> You will be greeted at main restaurant by smiling restaurant manager every time you walk in and if you ever looking for General Manager don’t look for him at the office. He is always working around the resort making sure everything is nice and tide. I am writing about it because it shows dedication that is clearly visible from all people that works in this resort to make your holidays memorable.
> During our stay , we have met many new friends and enjoyed our vacation. Without any hesitation we recommend this resort for families, couples and singles because regardless what is your preferable way to spent your vacation , there is great chance you will find everything you need in this resort.

Beautiful resort, great food, clean pools and amazing staff!
We stayed at this resort for a week and couldn’t have had a better time. The food was actually great despite what we’ve heard about Cuba as a whole. We never went hungry and we could always find something tasty at this resort!
I highly recommend upgrading to diamond club, having the private section on the beach with a bar is really nice along with diamond breakfasts and lunches (they were SO GOOD). Plus you get a later checkout and better drinks in your mini fridge.
The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I must add that if you’re looking for luxury Cuba might not be what you’re looking for. They can’t always get certain foods/booze as transport to the island isn’t always the best but they do the best with what they got.
Thanks again to the staff, we had a great first experience in Cuba and when we return we will be staying at memories!!
