Me and my family love visiting this residence and been for years. The residence is just a few minutes by foot from 2 beaches and you can go by car to many other beaches. Houses are small but comfortable and in the evening the garden is a nice place to eat and relax. For a nice breakfast you can go by foot to the nearby supermarket and take fresh baguettes, croissants and pain au chocolate.By Sofi (8 months ago)The best beach on the island!
Beatiful views from the villa. Everything was in perfect conditions. Friendly staff. Dog friendlyBy Dmitrii (7 months ago)We had an amazing stay at unit 440 which has a great terrace. Well organized with easy access to the beach of Santa Giulia. Only downsize are the mosquitos in the terrace. Perhaps the residence should try to do more to spray insect repellent in the area.By emanuele santi (9 months ago)Amazing and relaxing vacation in one of the big villas belonging to the residence. With stunning sea view, ~10 min. walk to Santa Ghuilia, well-air conditioned rooms and a lovely, welcoming reception, this residence is very recommended. With easy access to cafés, restaurants, bars, groceries you barely need anything else and can fully relax during your vacation. Very spacious villa, never running out of hot water even when 7 people took showers in sequence.
Things that could have been better:
– The WiFi in the villa is ridicously slow for even 1 person. The residence did everything they could to help us, but this area has poor phone reception and no optic fibre connection. Expect almost no usable bandwidth.
– Our villa did not have its own pool, so we had to walk up-hill some hundred metres.
– The grocery shop had limited selection and sometimes near sold-out
– The beds were not the best
– The equipment was standard if not below standard.
– No nearby playground for kids, and not infant-friendly house design (stairs, sharp edges, terrain, rocks)By Simon Traberg-Larsen (9 months ago)We had a great time, the Résidence team made their utmost to make our stay pleasen my. The location is amazing located in the heart of Santa Giulia walking distance to the beach. The villas have every thing you need. Recommended and will def come back.By ahmed eissa (2 years ago)

Unfortunately this hotel is not what it seems in the photos. For €330 per night we were expecting good quality rooms and facilities. As seen from the photos the rooms are equivalent to a 2 star hotel. This hotels best days a definitely behind it. The rooms are poor and the pool area is in need of work. Everything look worn. It’s very overpriced for what it is.By Christopher Brown (9 months ago)Most Horrendous Experience Ever
We have been traveling worldwide as a family for 7 years and the treatment at Hotel Belvedere is absolutely the worst experience of our lives – across multiple hotels around the world.
There were three of us traveling and I had originally booked a hotel room at Hotel Belvedere for two adults. I immediately emailed the hotel after booking months in advance to notify them we have a child with us and he would need to stay in the room. No problem noted the hotel and a 20euro charge per night. I said that was fine and secured the room for 3 pax.
Fast forward to checkin months later at the height of August travel in Porto Vecchio and the dumbfounded reception at Hotel Belvedere notes that only 2 people allowed in this room. I quickly pull up the email communication between us and reception notes that it is their error and in two nights they’ll be able to put us into a larger
Suite. We left reception with that being an acceptable alternative albeit we would have a rather cramped two nights at the hotel. Then with no warning staff at the hotel notify us we will not be able to stay at the hotel , even for one night and now we will not be able to stay in the suite citing an insurance policy not allowing this. They were kicking us out in a foreign country at the height of tourist season. Obviously with hotels booked up we were stressed and angry about the situation Hotel Belvedere was contemplating putting us in.
This was obviously them not wanting to upgrade us to the suite and they now took the stance that this entire issue was our fault despite admitting their error earlier. It was purely a monetary decision which adds to our disgust with Hotel Belvedere.
After begging and pleading they allowed us to stay in the room for the night and suggested that they were doing us a favour. We paid full price for the room and not so much of an apology or anything from this hotel. We had to scramble to save our vacation and paid top price at another hotel.
The rooms themselves as others have noted deserve a two star at best – they are run down and disgusting. Added to this the staff’s disgusting attitude to their paying guests, this hotel deserves a one star at best.
We are not ones to overly complain at establishments so take my word – avoid Hotel Belvedere – the staff treat you horrendously and the rooms are two star at best.
By Dave Bauman (8 months ago)I made a reservation here one month ago (!) for the 14th of July. Only a couple days before, I saw ON SOCIAL MEDIA that there is a menu that night.Since I don‘t eat meat, we asked if it was still possible to eat a la carte, this wasn‘t possible. I then asked if it was possible to change 1 course of the fix menu with meat to fish, this wasn‘t possible either! On top of it all, the staff was not helpful at all and very arrogant.
The menu would have been €150 pp. For that money and from an establishment like this, I expect a lot more!
By Anka Waem (9 months ago)Eat here if you are happy to be served by sullen staff and eat overpriced dried up chicken offered as bbq food food for 44 euros a plate. Suggest you stop at nearby Spar and get a picnic.By Fiona Robertson (9 months ago)even though the location is breathtaking, service was one of the worst ever
cocktails contained very little alcohol
food is below average
staff are not welcoming or friendly at all
basically if I had a 0 star option, I would’ve used itBy Bernard Akl (10 months ago)

Back for the second time within a day! Unfortunately our car broke down soon after leaving La Chiappa and we ended up having an extra week’s impromptu stay, this time in one of the bungalows.
Staff were very helpful with booking us in at the last minute, and also kindly rang and spoke to the VW garage in French regarding our car repairs, etc.
We enjoyed our stay, this time in a bungalow rather than camping because we had to leave our tent behind in the car when taking a taxi to La Chiappa.
Although there is a ‘no vehicle’ policy on the campsite – there was still a lot of traffic which spoilt the ambiance a bit.
There is lots to do: boules, volleyball, tennis, walking, a children’s play area, water aerobics, arts & crafts, yoga, sailing, snorkelling, scuba diving, and much more. There is a well equipped supermarket on site so you don’t have to leave the campsite to go into town if you don’t want to. There are also restaurants on site too.
I noted from a comment that there were quite a few clothed people around, even though it is a naturist campsite. Something to bear in mind is that Hippocampe Dive Centre and Surf Spot are open to the public so you will get ‘textile’ people coming in to make use of the dive centre and Surf Spot.
We loved living the way nature intended. It was wonderful and we will be back!
Big, beautiful clothing optional resorts are rare where I am from (non-existent) so to have the opportunity to have breakfast nude over looking a beautiful beach was a treat. The facilities are amazing and the options of camping or bungalow mean there is something for everyone and lots of space to relax and enjoy yourself. I loved my time here.
Upsides: Beautiful site with two own private beaches away from any town and hotels plus excellent sport facilities by independent operators make it unnecessary to leave the campground and give you that real holiday feel. Downsides: terrible internet connection (€5 for 10 hours) in only two spots, toilets and showers are old and not that clean, there is no soap and toilet paper provided Covid-19 notwithstanding and possibility to pay by card is limited while the next ATM cash dispenser is in Porto Vecchio.
I was there to accompany my family and not as a naturist proponent. Lovely camping resort, friendly staff, clean common areas surrounded by stunning nature. Minus two stars because we were harrassed aggressively by an elderly male guest who could not accept that I prefered to cover up. Thankfully I was not alone so it did not turn into a physical fight. The impolite staring of some guests resulted in an at times weird and hostile atmosphere, with almost all younger women covered up. The management seems to ignore the situation and does not encourage tolerance. If part of your group is not naturist, go elsewhere because the people there can’t handle other-minded individuals.
We spent some days and were very satisfied with this camp. Special thanks to Aline at the reception for helping me find and deliver my forgotten ID card…i got it.
