Spent 3nights/4days during my vacation. Greenery and clean yard/compound literally made us feel relaxed and joyful throughout the stay. Provide almost 24 hours electricity (only a few minutes of blackout happened) and great wifi-coverage in the hotel compound.

Hotel is advertised as 4 stars but it’s such an inflated rating. Rooms are basic and couldn’t call the hotel “luxurious”. It’s easily passable as a 2 star hotel given the LACK of amenities (no indoor slippers, razors, unfixed broken power plugs, very dim lights), no safety equipment whatsoever (no lifejackets or buoy for swimming, and no lifeguard), meager choice of breakfast options, no gym, and absence of other small details and facilities a supposed 4 star hotel would showcase. However, staff are friendly and attentive, breakfast is meh, the compound and rooms are clean, and bed and pillows are comfortable. Check-in experience was not good, the staff weren’t attentive at all. The location is great but the constant presence of boats for day tours on the waters in front of the hotel beach is a great annoyance and can be dangerous for children, and the lack of a lifeguard are some things the hotel should seriously look into.

The place is nice and the rooms are spacious. It has two floors and it’s quite hygienic. The fees of the rooms are a bit expensive but worth it. The swimming pool was clean and it’s around 4 feet. During the monsoon season, you can get a discount for both the rooms and massage. The staff are friendly and attentive. The parking is not that convenient though because it is in another place. However, you can tell them if you want to park in front of the hotel. There are restaurants opposite the hotel and also it’s 5 minute drive to the Light House cafe which is located on the far right of it.

My undisputed favourite hotel in Ngapali. Simple tasteful luxury.
In the middle of political turmoil, this is where you go to recharge. Everything is perfect without being over the top. The location is the best in the bay. Very few rocks in front of the hotel.
The rooms are spacious, spotless, decorated with taste.
The staff is warm and personable, very attentive and competent.
    The food is very good.

At first, I really like this hotel , their breakfast menu and their hospitality until when I was informed that the cash I paid on arrival was not full amount when I made check out . I was surprised that they informed me only before my check out time although the payment was made on my arrival time. They showed me their CCTV record and I had to repay the money gap. What is their manner? The cash should be checked soon after they received from us and should be informed us soon after. Not one or two days after the receipt. Upon checkout day, they suddenly popped up in front of the door and told us that the payment was not full amount . And it destroyed my honeymoon spirit totally. I am not talking about the right or wrong thing. I am talking about their SOP of informing somebody surprisingly and lately whether your payment was full or not . Please take care of the receptionists upon arrival as they talked you alot and welcoming you alot and make you feel happy upon their warm welcome but you may not recall later whether you give them full amount or not as all you remember was their welcome conversation. Next day, they would surprisingly knock your door and show the CCTV record of your shortage of payment and ask you to pay the gap . So, Better not to speak much with receptionists upon your arrival and please double confirm your payment with them. Otherwise , the happiness which was destroyed cannot be restored again. They dare to ask the payment lately although they provided official receipt upon arrival. You can see the written receipt & paid stamp with black ink on 29th March during check in time.

The hotel was outstanding, with really cool decorations and unique rooms, although the food was very tasty it was shockingly expensive. Suggestion to the owner: Please send confirmation details to guests after they have booked the rooms. Despite the weirdly high prices, we had a good time at the resort.

A good hotel if you are willing to spend time quietly at the beach. Decorations are well-done and staffs are friendly, kind. Service is mostly good.
Hotel’s beach side is relatively quiet, good for people who don’t like crowds.
Still, it’s not the prettiest beach side of NgaPaLi.
Although hotel is giving a good service, there are almost no employee before 8am. And fees are generally expensive but it’s expected.
Nevertheless I love how the hotel is eco friendly, and adjusting room check ins which is flexible for us.

  1. Have complete package for your trip, excellent breakfast. Offseason value is the best deal. Friendly services, good in-house restaurant can provide western menus, classic dinning experience & local foods. Neat & tidy rooms, bathroom but small swimming pool. Location close to the beach, but the beach itself is not clean, lot of plastics & cans. They have morning tour to nearby side-seeing (pagoda, wet market & fishing village) highly recommend.

  2. Amazing indeed! The private beach is wide and the sand soft and clean. The waters are shallow for some distance, with a soft sandy bed. Making for easy swimming. Even at capacity the resort has a quiet and serene quality. The gardens and palm tree lined accomodation is well kept and visually very pleasing. The only negative, food is underwhelming. However this is easily over looked as the overall standard of this resort is very high. This is definitely a place for couples or those adverse to over crowded, touristy counterparts such as Thailand or Malaysia. Also Burmese people are adorable. Hopefully it long continues this way!

  3. Amazing is an understatement in regards to the service; the staff was great, turndown service was wonderful. Rooms had a great view, though the bathroom was a little dated in the “old wing” (tub / shower mainly). Wifi was great and had extensive reach, barely any issues (which is not easy to say for many places in Myanmar). Breakfast was superb. Happy hour was great. Just wish they had beach-side service (and tables next to the loungers) because I would have racked up a hefty bill if I were able to order drinks on the beach 🙂 The area of the beach is very quiet and away from everyone/other resorts.

The resort is absolutely pristine; people are constantly at work. The vibe is definitely a “honeymoon” type vibe, so it’s not ideal for solo travelers unless you’re really comfortable with yourself. I could tell the staff was unsure of how to interact with someone solo, but they were very kind nonetheless!

  4. Stayed at the two story beach front suite for 2 nights . The buildings are getting old so the wooden floor boards squeak so much it’s hard for someone to sleep when someone else is walking around. The water flow into the jacuzzi was painfully slow, it took 2 hours fill. The reception staff were rude when replying a call and someone from the in room dining even said it better not be that room again when ordering food. The phones in the room didn’t have any type of information about which numbers to call for what. The seals on the buildings leaks when raining heavy. Included breakfast was also disappointing but it did offer some variety. The in room dining food were okay for taste but quite cheap at the price point. I would not suggest this hotel if you have other options and I definitely would never go back a second time.

  5. I rated it 1 star because the staff were so rude and we didn’t see anything to eat for breakfast in the resort. Service is practically non existent, And another thing is that the staff didn’t even help in carrying our bags to the room.
