First time doing all-inclusive in Cabo. I feel it was worth it as drinks and food were expensive. The location is close to the marina it is about a 10 minute walk and about a 20 minute walk into the downtown area with the shops. The rooms are nice. We got a suite so we had the kitchen with the living room. It was very spacious. Beware with the kitchen area they charge you for the water and coffee. They did not replace our water and tried to charge us again. With all inclusive, you can get bottle water with a meal.
The bed is comfortable, and the single shower off the bedroom is very tight. The housekeeping was great and left cute animals. Waitstaff was fantastic (A few of our favorites were Alfredo, Margareta, and Arturo.). The views from the hotel were beautiful. We were able to watch whales from the restaurant. The food we had was excellent. They do have a few activities for kids by the pool and activities for adults as well. The downfalls were limited restaurants with the all-inclusive and the all food shuts down at 10 pm, so no midnight snacks.By Brenda Bauer (3 months ago)beware of scams. this resort has beautiful grounds and great location, with amazing wait staff. Unbeknownst to us this is a “time share” type property and even though we purchased on their site as if it was a hotel room, they wasted 4 hours of a day trying to rudely sell us on the time share purchase offering a fake $300 credit which we never received. If you come here as a hotel room please deny any of the “free breakfast” and going to another property to hear a presentation. Even if all the bells and whistles they offer sound good, it’s all a scam and waste of money and time. Their time share offering was chaotic and confusing, leading me to believe there is fine print somewhere that will scam you!By Rachele Richardson (3 months ago)This poor resort is pretty run down from 8 years ago. Although it still has beautiful landscaping. The beach is not swimmable. We reserved 3rd party and didn’t get what was advertised so not resorts fault. The beds and pillows are comfy enough. But the resort food is expensive, I think the all-inclusive may be worth it, if you drink and eat 3 meals a day and water since it’s $3 a bottle then you’ll also get drinks by the pool too! The resort is close enough to the Marina, although you have to climb a hill going back( not too bad). FYI There is NOTHING COMPLIMENTARY in this hotel, we were very misled by 3rd party booking. Our other hotel b4 moving to this one provided complimtary coffee and water. Just know before you go!By Larrissa Whitmer (5 months ago)Beautiful resort. The view from our room was spectacular. Food and drinks were decent. We did not do all inclusive. It is a cashless resort. Great location. About a 10 to 15 min walk into town. Cabs were cheap. Only downfall is that side of the beach you can not get in due to Riptides, sharp drop offs and high waves. Would recommend.By Audias A (5 months ago)The Good: tasty food. Drinks are delicious. All inclusive is the way to go because it’s expensive paying per meal and drink. Mojitos are perfect. Last basic resort on beach. Felt very intimate. Perfect for relaxing which is why we went. The service was good. The hotel room by the pool is the best.
The Bad: service is good only if you tip. margaritas were bad. When we checked out, Carlos from Acupulco wanted to kick us out right away and put us in a shuttle. Carlos was rude and did not help with the shuttle. No one came to us once we checked out by the pool. They did not even acknowledge us. No matter how much we tipped before, they could not care less about how we were there.Overall fun stay but was left with a bad taste in my mouth.

One of the most unaccommodating all inclusive resorts I have stayed at. It’s a three star dressed up as a five. Our family spent a significant amount of money to be here and will not return. Unfriendly staff, outdated rooms, cheap alcohol, bland food. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Update:
Our experience continues to get worse. We were told that a New Years celebration was included as part of the all inclusive (as confirmed by our travel agent and with the hotel) and no reservations were required. However, as the week continued staff seem to change their tune and a charge was now associated.
To make things worse we thought we would head out to one of the ‘all inclusive’ restaurants for a New Years dinner celebration. Once there we felt unwanted. Staff had told us locals were paying to be there. Seems like the staff has forgotten we are paying guests. Furthermore, the menu was limited with no kids options or vegetarian.
All in all this experience keeps getting worse. $10000 USD for a family of 4 for a 7 day stay. Seriously, look elsewhere unless you want to feel like you’re not in an all inclusive.
By Mandy and Jag (4 months ago)Resort was beautiful. View was amazing. Only complaints we have is we tried to extend our stay. For 2 days straight I kept asking the front desk and the travel agent guy here at the resort for help and a price on extending our stay a few nights. No one could give me answers. I told them I’m trying to give y’all my money we would love to stay longer. Never got an answer so we just went home as planned. Overall. Great place.By Cody Auer (3 months ago)Stayed at the Dreams for 10 days. Pool is amazing with pool side service from Elsa…Very sweet lady, Roman by the kiddie pool and Hugo from the welcome bar.
The entertainment crew brought in life to this place every day. MARCOS, Jorge, Sofia and Sara were amazing! The level of energy these kids bring in is just lively.
Stay was good but wont be returning just because of the food. No flavour. You have to ask for hot sauce every time. There is no authentic Mexican restaurant.By kajal mittu (5 months ago)Id say our experience at Dreams was average.
Pros: nice rooms, decent food, great entertainment team offering lots of activities, clean, a nice spa and a fun club for the evenings.
Cons: Not enough pool chairs (people were saving chairs at like 6am), restaurants opened too late and had long waits (which was rough for kids), staff was hit or miss on friendliness, evening live music was great but they did not play late enough.
Overall, the pool chairs and restaurant wait times were the most frustrating and would be the reason we would not return. However, we still had a good time.By jamie porter (2 months ago)Rooms are lovely. Somewhat noisy especially when our room had door to adjoining room we did not request. Neighbor guests smoked on balcony which drifted into our room. Security slow to reply to noise complaints.Front end staff wonderful. Food so so. Confusion over restaurant wait times. Food often not hot.
Biggest issue the high pressure, won’t take no for an answer, mandatory sales presentation. Insulted when the second sales person came to the table telling me ” breathe lady”.
Won’t stay there again. Numerous lovely all inclusive resorts for same weekly rates with no buying needed.By Tami Pickell (3 months ago)

All good reviews here are fake. Or 99% are.
Only left a few 1 stars. And this deserves it.
Room smelled like wet sewage.
Most of the Staff are rude.
Food is not great. Putting it nice.
Stupid rules
Also asked to be woken up to catch the shuttle.
Not only did they forget. They charged us $50 for staying 15 min past checkout. No joke.
Reused to let us leave before we paid it and made us take a taxi they picked.
I can go on. And we supposedly paid for the better hotel.
100 different and this stands out for all the wrong reasons.
The staff is super nice and helpful! The location is absolutely gorgeous and the resort itself is a beautiful open style design. We had no problems getting anything done. The food was good, I wasn’t coming in expecting Michelin star food, some dishes are definitely better than others, but I think everyone can find something they like.
Hotel was very clean, property was nice, staff were friendly. The food was amazing. Always ate at the buffet because it had such a good variety of food that was always good. Not much to do on the resort but you are able to go to the hotel next door where there was a ton of entertainment. They could use a gym with equipment, that would be my only downfall to the trip. I would still return to this resort.
Really nice hotel!! The room was really nice and clean, you have your own outdoor seating area, great bathroom, a mini bar and fridge, and control of the AC/heat (make sure you close the sliding door or it won’t come on). The buffet for all 3 meals has a nice selection and some things are made to order like the omelettes. Servers are super friendly and make sure you have something to drink and everything else you need. There are several bars, and multiple pools. If you don’t want the buffet, there are also other restaurants like the steakhouse, Indian, etc. that you can eat dinner from. You’ll want to make sure you have the time and dress code for whatever restaurant you’re wanting to go to though, most of them have a line before they open. This hotel is everything you could ask for and more. If you want to experience Mexico but don’t want to venture much, this would be the perfect place to go.
We had an amazing vacation at this hotel. All the employees are professional, friendly and super helpful. Check in was quick and easy, housekeeping was great and done everyday. The restaurant and bar staff were super nice and attentive. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the food. I do believe it can be better And more creative. It was very repetitive and you can see how much better it could be when they have theme nights. Krystal was our favorite restaurant, as well as the Italian restaurant.
