Dear tourists “BE AWARE” of this place. Never share your credit card information with this group of thieves. As other people mentioned in the reviews, they created fake reservations/charges under my name and they were unable to prove them(weird right?) but they were very good at pointing fingers at others.
I got a notification about additional charges from this hotel, I spoke to their management staff. They are a joke, they were not capable of resolving anything(front desk manager-Ana) she should be trained or fired accusing my relatives about that fake charge the hotel did).
They tried to convince me to take a hotel credit instead of refunding the money they stole, they said it was the only option and they wont give me my money back even after they knew it was a SCAM what they did to me.
The building is old-dated, old pool and rust fences, you could feel depressed at some point and they have multiple structural issues, you should expect more quality for that price!.
The bathroom was full of dampness and mold. There is nothing interesting if you stay in this place, it looks abandoned, dirty sand full of garbage and human residues exposed, there are parties next to the building till 2 am because it is a public space and they can’t do anything about it.
There is nothing around this place, just houses, such as restaurants or grocery stores. You need to have a car if that is the case and go downtown. Their restaurant’s awful customer service is completely out of place, there was an old waiter(bald head) that was very rude to multiple foreign customers. A very bad experience here and of course I will never come back here or recommend it to my friends.
BTW verify you get the right room that you asked for, they gave me the wrong room and I had to let them know that.By Mr Lee (4 months ago)There are some reviews about this place that seem pretty unfair. The hotel has off street parking **see video
When we checked in we were treated with mimosas and check in was very easy. There was a guy ready to help us with our bags (we didn’t need it).
The room had a shower with piping hot water and a jetted tub **see pictures. I’m sure the tub was clean but I filled it and tan the jets and drained it before using it. It broke my heart to use waste so much water but I felt that it was necessary.
There was a couch in the room but we didn’t want to touch it or put anything on it because it looked pretty manky.
The bed mattress is a simple spring mattress but we both slept like babies.
Amazing pool/bay view!
There was a coffee machine and snacks in the room but we didn’t use them.
There were real glasses for wine or water.
There was a work desk.
Outlets to charge your phone we’re only on one side of the bed.
I scheduled a massage. Looking back I should have asked for deep tissue or hot stone because the touch was a bit light for me but everything smelled amazing and it was very relaxing. The spa was on level 2 but if you access it from the elevator you have to walk through the maze of the laundry room which was obviously not purposed for public view.
Breakfast is included if you order off the “free” menu. There are other items for purchase. As with anywhere the local dishes are much better than the American style dishes.
Overall: This facility has absolutely seen better days. It looks like the maintenance crew is working on one needed project at a time. There were not many other guests while we were there.
If I was just rating the staff it would be 4 or 5 star rating. Everyone was helpful, welcoming, and provided great service. There was a lady cleaning the heck out of the lobby bathrooms and we loved our waiter at breakfast. Since it was mentioned in other comments I would also like to add that at no point did we have our credit card information stolen or even feel like that was a risk.
By Kailee Tarbox (a month ago)Excellent hotel, friendly staff, highly recommended restaurant food, tuna tartare, paella, seafood tacos, all fresh and delicious, typical Mexican breakfast every day. We were in room 27 with two floors and a jacuzzi on the terrace with a view of the sea. We will stay here again!By laura Maria (2 weeks ago)Don’t stay at this hotel! The management is completely dishonest and hostile. We had to change rooms every night because of problems with the room…4 times!! One of the rooms had no hot water. They charged an upgrade fee for the jacuzzi room, but the jacuzzi never worked. Then agreed to return the fee, but after weeks of avoiding our calls, the manager said they will not return the fee that THEY AGREED TO RETURN. It’s sad because some of the staff are very nice. Clearly there is a problem with the management. They are dishonest, avoid this place!!!UPDATE: During my last phone call with the hotel, the manager told me that they were not going to refund the fee that they agreed to refund because I wrote a bad google review. Corrupt!! Also, read their response where they threaten my business. This place is not safe!
By Wes Swing (2 weeks ago)Would 100% recommend la posada hotel. My husband and I stayed with the Hotel in La Paz for 7 nights on a vacation trip, the food was simply excellent, the ambience, the decor, gorgeous. Every room has a balcony, and i’ve watched the ocean day and night.
The service and staff of the hotel is at the high level. Thank you for everything!By anne adams (a month ago)

Best campground on the Baja! Pool, palapa, hot showers, clean bathrooms and plenty of them to accommodate all the vehicles. They would rake leaves all around us every day. Kind owners that care. Washer and dryer with room to hang dry your clothes. Highly recommendBy Carrie Gibson (a month ago)We had a good stay here. We have a van and parked in the Tenting area with only elect and h2o. No sewer dump. It’s a noticeably more chill feeling vs the regular RV pads. Most RV pads are there for the winter. Some are just a few nights. The park is right in town so great for restaurants. Awesome sandy beach in front of the park. No actual Sani dump but people use an unoccupied serviced lot to dump. We stopped in for 2 nights. Turned that into a week. Then added another week. The town and area has a lot to offer. We’ll be back.By A B-gmail (a year ago)This place has a life of it’s own with a seasonal migration of RVers and campers as well as a beautiful hotel. You can sit near the pool or at the outdoor bar and enjoy the beach views as your neighbor is watching for Dorado or Roosterfish. My last evening staying here a pod of dolphins leapt past along the beach maybe 50 feet from shore.By Victor Lavergne (a year ago)Crammed in like sardines! They advertise wifi but it is literally nonexistent around the campground. Only a could of very specific spots had slow wifi. Everyone I spoke to said they could not get workable wifi from the campground. $600M pesos a night ($30 US) is a bit steep for the experience.By David Robertson (a year ago)Great RV park right on the water.
Stayed for one night in a camper van while visiting friends. Bit pricey for one night considering we weren’t in an actual site and were in the parking lot, but had access to all the amenities.By Jennifer Jennings (a year ago)

Great location. Nice beach and pool area. The rooms could be ok, but they have not done anything to keep them up. Some paint is all that would be needed to cover all the flaws of years of use. Good value for all else but not the room.
Disappointed. Ramsey is outstanding, I would only stay here bc of him. I give 1 star for the remainder of my experience. I wasn’t allowed to be seated or served from the on-site restaurant as a paying guest of the hotel. There were many open tables on the deck and side patio and they were never filled. I sat at the bar and could see the tables sit empty. I wasn’t waited on at the bar, so I had to leave to eat at another location.
We arrived late afternoon and had drinks and dinner on the terrace. Service: very friendly. Drinks: perfect. Food: delicious. View: dolphins right in front of us. A place to enjoy life and be happy. Prices: moderate. Recommendation!
Is a wonderful hotel! Everyone at the hotel is very helpful and accommodating. Is a little bit from La Paz which is nice and they will call a taxi for you or you can easily walk there. Is right on the beach 🏝️ with really nice pool. They have their own water treatment so water is really safe and their food is so amazing. We had many meals there and everyone of them was delicious. Rooms were very clean and cozy. There is many fun things to do and see in the area as well. Was there for a friend’s wedding and they went out of their way to make their wedding a beautiful memory. Highly recommend!
Great location, beautiful views from the rooms up top. Very friendly staff. Spacious room, but balcony was a bit small. Beautiful pool, just wish it was heated and cleaned more frequently. The hotel itself is a bit outdated and needs renovations for sure, but I like the style of it. There is a bee hive in the hallway so there is a lot of dead bees all over the floors. Cleanliness in the rooms was not very good, black mold in shower. But I absolutely loved the view, location, and staff overall so I still give 4 stars. 5 stars if the cleanliness gets better
