Stayed in one of their cottages attached to each other with the family. Rooms were dated but relatively clean. TV was very small, no phone in room, had a fridge, one window would not open, large picture window was clean but seal appeared to be broken giving it the appearance of being dirty, window AC unit kept cottage cool but was loud. Outdoor pool was clean, large and kids had fun. Owners at check were friendly. Large open areas to play outside games and throw a frisby.

The Inn was a great choice, for our visit to the area. Although the building is now reaching “elderly status”, the Inn was very comfortable, and the staff very polite/ helpful. Breakfast is included in the price of the accommodation, and was available from 8-10 am.
One word of warning though, if you are a traveller with any mobility issues, make sure that you are not booked on the second floor. The stairs are steep and narrow, and proved a predicament for the person I was travelling with.

The location is excellent- right near the main drag, 2 mins to Green Gables, 3 mins to amusement park, beach is a 2 min drive or bike. We stayed in a cabin that hasn’t been updated. Clean with basic kitchen supplies. Some paint chipping and in serious need of a refresh. Basic but location makes up for lacking interior.

This is my 4th time here in 6 years. Fantastic deal for what we get. 2 bedrooms. 3 beds. Full kitchen. Barbecue with propane included. Pool. Wi-Fi and air conditioning. All within a 5 minute drive of what Cavendish has to offer

Highly recommend. Staff are all wonderful, friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to the beach along a walking path. Tourism information is across the road and so are several eating options. Lovely character.

The staff were so kind and accommodating. The rooms were pristine clean, I would feel comfortable bringing my kids here. Amazing price and also so many amenities. This motel surpassed my expectations.

Rooms are clean, spacious and in a good location. There is a heated swimming pool which was a bonus. Although the rooms are minimal, it has everything you need including a kitchenette(stove, Microwave, fridge, coffee maker) They provide a few basics such as pans, cutlery, bowls, plates and glasses. They have a nice green space which has BBQs. Bathroom was clean, lots of towels, soap bars, shampoo and a hairdryer included. You have to run the water a bit to get warm/hot as I found out. I found the price to be reasonable, but we also stayed in the off season. It is in a great location for Cavandish and there’s a small food Mart across the street. My only issue was with how uncomfortable the bed was.

Had the most fabulous time!! The prices were very reasonable. Rooms clean with all the amenities you could ask for. Pool area was clean and comfortable as well.

Katie at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay spectacular and guide us in the ways on the island we did not consider. Thank you for the sun-kissed ginger tea as well it was delicious!

Loved that they allowed for self check in and I’d you leave before the office opens then you just drop off your keys in their drop box. We had our room prepaid so it was very convenient. Only thing was the bathroom size but we still managed.

Probably my worst stay in a 10 day trip and i have traveled a lot.
The bed was so worned out, it just fell apart when i went to sleep.
The hole bed needs to be changed. And both of them.
I could not care less about paint, stove and fridge because i wont sleep in them… I had a terrible night, could not sleep.
It’s pretty clean outside, but my room had lots of hair running on the bathroom floor and the corner of the room.
The people at the front desk were very nice and pleasant.
No ice machine, you need to go to front dsk, witch is closed after 21h00 …
    No breakfast
    Price was high too.
    I had room 9 !

  1. First time at a KOA and it was fantastic. Can’t complain about the price either for $40/night. WiFi was good, my husband thought the bathrooms were amazingly clean. My son loved the jumping pillow, candy bar bingo and wagon ride. This place is super Fab for families and everyone else. We saw lots of retirees, young adults and families. There was a great playground for kids and so many planned activities. We loved talking to our campsite neighbours which made the whole place even more pleasant learning about where people are from. My husband loved that he didn’t have to pick up the firewood and they delivered it to our campsite for us! The staff were all really lovely. The location can’t be beat as there was a Tim Hortons next door, if we needed groceries, supplies we could drive across the street and the whole street was littered with attractions and restaurants that you just couldn’t get bored.

  2. We truly enjoyed our stay st the Cavendish KOA. It was a nice campground with a really friendly and helpful staff that went out of their way to make sure we were pleased with our stay. We were there close to the end of the season and it was very peaceful.

Also, the campground is located in a great spot on the island allowing for good access to much of the surrounding area.

We would definitely stay here again in the future and we recommend this facility to you.

Update: We are now here for our second stay, July 2019, This time it is peak season and most every campsite is taken yet the staff continues to be as courteous, helpful and friendly as when the park is at minimal capacity. The grounds continue to be well kept and the wash houses are clean. Another good stay.

  3. I love this place. One thing it has is a Kids Kamp which is fun and I have never seen this before. Close to Cavendish and only ½ an hour from Charlottetown. Very clean pool. There is a wagon ride that happens every day at 7 p.m. Huge playground. On sundays there is a free hotdog and marshmallow roast. And tye-dye twice a week. There is also candy bar B.I.N.G.O which is fun. We were here for two weeks in total and loved it! One of the best campgrounds from KOA I have seen.

  4. It is fully packed during peak season. The camp sites are narrow and so close to each other. The couple good thing about the site are the pretty leveled ground and fully hook up service. But we selected that and paid for. So I wouldn’t consider that as bonus. Some campers are very rude and unhelpful. We went out for dinner and got back to our site around 9pm. We found our picnic table was moved and used by others. And no one bother to move it back to our site. And we did laundry on the second day of our stay, the washer and dryer are extremely outdated, no estimate time shown on any machines. We set up the dryer and left. Came back 40 mins later, found out that some other camper couldn’t wait a bit, they decided to pulled out our dried cleaned clothes and left on the public used table. I confronted the lady who did that, she said someone told her to do so. We all know there is no such “someone”. I was extremely disappointed about this rude behavior. Will I ever come back again? Probably not.

  5. If you enjoy rude customer service well this is the place for you! Just stopped to visit some friends and there kids! From the time I exited my vehicle a blonde lady with glasses was extremely rude and not polite at all. Checked in to visit and then was scolded me for having brought a few coolers with me as a gift to my friends. “Hope you don’t plan on drinking and driving!” Is the comment she made as I left. Ah nope it’s 12:03 pm ma’am was my reply. Just a brutal welcome to a new place and all uncalled for. We won’t recommend or be back for a visit.
