  1. The beds are comfortable, the view from Amadores bay is great. Friendly staff, but I think that there might be a bit of shortage of staff. We ordered Nachos but I think it was very pricey just for some chips with 2 dips and a tiny bit of cheese bits.

  2. We had the sushi and a drink each, eventually….

On first arrival the waitress ignored me twice when trying to get her attention so we could be seated. After being ignored we chose to pick our own table and sit. A different waitress then came over and took our order, pleasant enough but not service I’d expect for the prices or location (how about a smile, asking how we are or even just saying hello in a tone which is welcoming..?). The original waitress who ignored us then approached and said “still not decided?” Which I was confused by as she had not given us a menu, spoke to us nor were there any menus on our table…

The sushi we had was OK. Presented well but tasted just ok. The rice was overdone and wet. Too much mayo and the wasabi seemed to be mixed with a chilli oil. I have never had wasabi quite so hot or that burned my lips upon touch.

Upon reflection, I wouldn’t return or recommend.

  3. Great Ibiza style vibe here with live DJ on certain days. Different priced sun beds to choose from in different areas, with full use of the facilities – pool, jacuzzi’s, bar & changing rooms/toilets. Bottle of Cava & towels included with some too. Additional cost for a massage beside the pool area.
Drinks & food served to your sun bed …. what more do you need!
Highly recommend & would definitely return!

  4. Food was quite good and the vibe is nice, but the place is worn down and you see that they are not in control of what they are doing. The waiter made a silly face when we told him our food choice. Would recommend if you like sitting in an open place with good food.

  5. Such a beautiful place, great service, great food, lovely atmosphere. Have been a few times already and definitely will be back for some more 😉

Large but very well functioning hotel. Very friendly service at the front desk – against request they even arranged us fruit basket in the middle of night upon our arrival even though all places were already closed. Thank you!
Large, nice and recently renovated family rooms.
Only negative things are old elevators that does not work 100%ly anymore and room cleaning that varied from day to day and from cleaner to cleaner, but these are only minor things.

Best Saturday abroad in a long time. Connor the entertainer has been amazing. Taking all of our requests, allowing us to sing along, beautiful weather, fab bar staff. Really great afternoon, the best we have had whilst we have been here. Even got an applause from my terrible singling of a take that song!
Well deserved 5 star for a true entertainer. Connor your a diamond. xxx

Absolutely amazing place to visit in Gran Canaria, beautiful hotel with a couple of choices of pools which are cold but, refreshing. Amazing food everyday with different culture of foods every night in the buffet. Amazing pizza and cocktails. The rooms are always cleaned everyday, bedroom is left smelling fresh. Staff are so polite and very friendly. They help you when needed and cater your needs if be. Will definitely be visiting again and can’t wait!!!

We loved our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms clean, big and nice. The only negative thing I can say is that there is no door between the bathroom and bedroom, so for example, I wasn’t able to shower while my husband slept and the door to the toilet was made off glass, so there was no pooping on private 😅

The views are incredible and this hotel gave us the most relaxing experience!

Had a really nice, relaxing all inclusive stay there for seven nights above the Amadores Beach. There is a bus shuttle to the beach and several activities in the resort. Food is great, my personal favorites were the grilled fish at dinner and the club sandwich at the pool bar.
Service at the room, reception and restaurants was perfect and very friendly. It would be great for the breakfast to provide some device to slice apples into wedges. Besides, I can’t imagine anything to improve.

It was a very good choice to take this hotel. The rooms are clean an comfortable. Gentle service, good food, fitness room clean and well maintained.
3 pools on three platforms, frequent different activities available.
    Aircon and ceiling fan.

Lifts available, but also many stairs.

Since the refurbishment this hotel is superb with wonderful views over Amadores bay. Not good for anybody with disabilities as it is on many different levels although there are lifts. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and very helpful. An excellent choice for winter sun

Great ‘all inclusive’ resort with beautiful views. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food buffets have good variety and something for everyone. There’s fish, chicken, meat and some vegetarian dishes everyday. There’s also a dedicated Italian food counter with various pastas and pizzas everyday. There are 2 beers on tap – Amstel and Cruzacampo. The white, red and rose wine is available on tap…. Nothing great, but drinkable. There’s a free shuttle from the hotel to the beach few times a day, unfortunately the last one is too early in the evening. There are 2 full size pools and 2 kids pools. When we visited during the last week of February none of them were heated, but the weather was reasonably warm enough to enter the pools (at least for some people). The bars close to the pools served a good variety of cocktails and other non alcoholic drinks.

Few things that can be improved – I wish there was a way to pay a little bit extra and upgrade to a better drinks package (just like on cruises). I also found it strange that they don’t have free toothpaste/toothbrush set just in case if you forgot to bring one. There’s a store onsite where you can buy it… but I would expect an upscale all-inclusive resort to provide this to the guests.

All in all, we had a great relaxing vacation at this resort.

The catfish of hotels. Outdated dirty poorly maintained rooms hallways facilities.. once you pass the lobby which is nice, the whole place is basically where happiness goes to die. Checked in and we spent 4h at the resort looking for alternate accommodations. Thank God we found it and left vistamar. That decision saved the vacation. Avoid this hotel at all costs until MAJOR renovations are done ALL over the property
