Amazing place and the food is just delicious! we enjoyed the yummiest catch of the day with fresh pasta and tomato sauce… loved it so much that we’re getting dinner here tonight! The staff is super friendly and you see all the locals eating here… the views are just breathtaking! We’re also staying at the hotel for 2 nights and it’s gorgeous. Makes you travel through time. The hotel is stuck in the rocks and is super charming and clean. The service is more than amazing! Thank you both Luigis for making us feel like at home. I also love that is not in the middle of a town as everything else is super crowded! 5 minutes walk and you can get a lovely beach too. 1000% recommend! The place looks so much better than the pictures. The whole property really is something special, since it is made into a rock and you get to use their private beach, which is really rare on the Amalfi coast, especially for this price / night. We rented a boat and it picked us up at the hotel which was so nice. Each room has a private (or shared with max 2 rooms) terrace overlooking the sea and cliffs so the scenery is truly breathtaking. Also, the hotel offers free parking!
Then there is the people who make this hotel even more special. The owner Luigi greeted us straight away ad made us feel like home. We spent 4 nights in the hotel and had dinner twice. The dinner was very nice and reasonably priced. Everyone working there helped us a lot and made us feel very comfortable during the whole stay.
La Locanda del Fiordo was really the highlight of our Italian trip!!
We will definitely come back next year.

The place is close to Amalfi, but far enough to maintain its authenticity.
Food is just what you would like to get: fresh fish and very good limoncello.

Stayed here three nights with my husband and everything was perfect! Staff could not be more welcoming or helpful whether it was dinner reservations or getting us a taxi. We had dinner as well as lunch during our stay and each time we were impressed by the service and the presentation. The room was beautifully appointed, incredibly clean even the outside terrace was wiped down, and had a welcome bottle of wine waiting. At night the turndown service was wonderful with fresh towels and chocolate. The rooms were beautiful and immaculate with gorgeous views of Positano. Every staff member was friendly, polite, and helpful. We were guests for four nights in early June and had a memorable experience. The staff is exceptional from the front desk to housekeeping.
The morning breakfast staff, the Spa, the pool side service – truly exceeded our expectations. My children enjoyed the 8AM hikes and the informative guides The boat trips and lunch are not to be missed. We had our finest meal of our entire 15-day Italian vacation at La Sponda. The three in-hotel bars and Franco’s are all worth visiting. We can’t wait for a return visit.

All things are honestly perfect and deserve a 5 star rating, except one encounter I had with one receptionist lady which I found to be extremely unpleasant.The hotel had this balcony looking over the coast which could only be accessed by the guest. When I went to the balcony, the lady told me “I’m sorry, this is only for the guest” and tried to close the balcony door on me. Yes, I didn’t dress up on that particular hour (and I don’t have to!) and not exactly fall in the main demo (age, ethnicity) of the other guests’ main profile. That was such poor way to communicate house rules to guests or even to non-visitors and definitely think the hotel need a revisit on that.
I appreciate Aldo’s response on the matter and yes as I said earlier putting aside this one incident, Le Sirenuse’s beautiful property, perfect location and excellent services from the staff at the restaurants are top-notch.

This hotel has a 5 star rating and it deserves it. Rooms are unbelievable, with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and polished tile floors you could eat off of. Fantastic lounge/deck area with bar service. Service throughout the hotel is superlative. Two restaurants (one on the ‘beach’ and the other a Michelin starred restaurant in the hotel). They have an on-demand shuttle to the town just a 5 minute ride away. This place is on the pricey side, but if you want to splurge, this is the place to do it.
stunning property. came for drinks on the terrace and dinner. the views have to be the best on the coast, and the level of service was impeccable. every last thing was thought out- we casually mentioned to the waiter that we were going to call a cab home and he got the host to come over and schedule it for us.
This was one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever been to! From the minute you arrive in the lobby you can tell it is a really special place The service and grounds were impeccable. Our room was beautiful and so well kept. The service and food were great. While checkout was at 11am, the hotel allowed us to keep our bags there until we got back from our boat day and even gave us a ride to our next hotel about 5 minutes away. We would absolutely go back.
It’s been a number of years since I had the good fortune of experiencing this heaven on Earth…I am certain time has served to only more finely hone it’s exquisite ambiance. I’m simply wondering how it can possibly be rated anything less than 5.0??!!! I assure you will NOT be disappointed.
Our favourite hotel in the whole world. A slice of heaven on the Amalfi Coast. Amazing service, delicious “Michelin Star” food, an incredible private beach, breathtaking views from impeccably decorated rooms and suites. There’s a reason why we’ve been returning yearly for many years. We’re welcomed back each year like family.
