  1. Definitely worth the price. Excellent service upon arrival, accommodated early check in for me and provided luggage check even prior to that. Excellent front desk staff, the young gentleman helped me stay at the best room with great views. My 3N/4day stay had room service everyday with access to pool, 2 bath towels, 2 beach chairs and private beach access with great expansive views of the beach and ocean water. It would have been nicer if the mermaid show was included in the resort fee. I highly recommend this resort in Fort Lauderdale if visiting Florida.

  2. This hotel was not as advertised. The lobby is gorgeous but the room area looks like a motel. The rooms were dirty and disgusting. Coffee machine didn’t work called to complain 3 times and they finally came to replace it 3 days in. Cable TV wasn’t working no one cared. They advertised 1 price after I checked in I found lower prices for the same days and Same room I had and the front desk refused to honor it & just shrugged me off. Then charged a ridiculous resort fee +tax on top of the resort fee for what felt like staying at motel six. The carpets were old and torn. Had to literally call & beg for fresh towels because they didn’t replace them. I want a full refund. This was horrible. The front desk refused to help or listen to my concerns. Have filled out customer surveys and called a bunch of times and no one has cared enough to get back to me.

  3. The staff is what really makes this hotel worth staying at. Everyone was so helpful and nice. I stayed here because thought it would be a nice get away after my wedding. The room is nothing special for a 4 star hotel on the beach. The phone was dusty and there were mosquitoes coming out of a vent in the bathroom. The shower door only covers where the shower head is. No balcony and no microwave in the room. The hotel charges a resort fee on top of what you already paid. Then an additional $100 per day for incidentals. I would not recommend staying here

  4. Good overall experience, staff super friendly and accommodating.
Needed more food options closer to hotel (available- Naked Crab that was only open for breakfast and dinner and a grill located near the ‘private’ beach around where you get the towels). I would have liked to see food included with my stay if place is called a resort.
There are 3 different buildings you could stay in. Great view, didn’t have a balcony.
One STAND OUT thing I noticed was that the shower had no door so if not careful you can definitely wet the floor. Check out was very easy and transport to airport was great.

  5. Wonderful resort! Employees go above and beyond for their guest and all so welcoming!!! We arrived way early from check in but they allowed up to leave our luggage with them until it was check in time. Such a friendly nice environment. They have great bar drinks and fun bartenders. The hotel staff changed our towels and bedding, restocked our soaps, waters, coffees daily. It was a real treat staying here. Plus one amazing Beautiful view of ocean.

Absolutely wonderful place with gorgeous views. Some things I liked about the hotel was how friendly the staff were. I kept getting texts from the hotel staff telling me to have a safe travel to the hotel, and the next day after I checked out they sent me a message telling me that they hope I made it home safely. The staff are incredible. The hotel itself is very clean and modernized. I enjoyed the beach bridge that the hotel has that is for hotel guests only. To make it safer for everyone, they do lock the gates at night. The hotel is about a 5-6 minute drive from the airport which is perfect. I absolutely loved my stay here and would recommend staying at the Bahia Mar.

This was a nice, clean and bright place. Great location. Easy to get to. I was happy to see the offered valet, I’m from Chicago and all our hotels have valet. A lot of hotels in Florida don’t. Service wasn’t the best, they only had 1 person checking people in and it was a 15m wait (I know it doesn’t sound like much, but after a 4 hour drive, I want to shower, get dressed get to my meeting and head out to celebrate). I was unable to reach room service. The rooms were a nice size, very clean and the beds were nice and soft. Loved the huge window, even though it showed the parking lot, you were still able to see the lights at night. Must have a key card to enter building, which is very good, people aren’t able to just walk in. I would come again if I was unable to find something else.

    Hilton member here.
Stayed there a year and a half ago, fire alarm was going off for 4 hours and pool was closed. Fast forward, decided to give this property another try and throw my girlfriend a surprise birthday. Got two rooms, during check in I told them I was doing a surprise birthday for my girlfriend and friends would be here shortly to grab the keys so they could decorate while we were out at dinner. Pretty simple request but they would not give the keys to my guests so they were stuck outside the room waiting for us. Not much of a surprise. Also the rooms were about 400 additional dollars than what I was told for “resort fees”. The pool was closed, what resort? Asked the front desk for pillows, they never came. Charged all my guests for parking which was about 150 PER PERSON for the whole stay times that by 6 cars, do the math. Called them back after and they said they would refund my guests their parking costs. Never happened. Breakfast was just around 100 dollars per couple. Nice property but we will never stay there again. My other 7 guests will likely be giving a 1 star review.

I’m not sure if I was just pleasantly surprised since the recent reviews have been so bad and I will say that I was in the main tower with beach view (but I talked to a satisfied guest who was in the shorter marina tower), but we had an overall very good experience! Our room wasn’t connected even though we booked it as such but that seems like a corporate problem. We requested 2 cribs and it took 45 minutes which felt like eternity with two tired kids. We had used the Hilton app messaging service to request that the cribs be in our room upon arrival, but it didn’t happen.
The hotel is very nice looking and we loved the little coffee shop, bar, and restaurant. The property was nice and well kept. The employees were all pretty nice. We liked the walkway that connected us to the beach and pool, which was so fun on the weekend. They had a dj and it was a fun party scene yet somehow we felt comfortable at with two young kids! It was a really good location and our rooms were in pretty good shape! The location was great with many activities in walking distance.

Front staff was nice. I had to change rooms, the thermostat looked as if someone hit is with a hammer. My next room was ok, but old, dated and not very nice. Other than the front desk staff, the hostess at the restaurant refused to say hi or smile, as if she was doing me a favor. Coffee Bar server was the same. Not welcoming as all! House keeping was not nice either, I just stayed away from everyone. I am glad it was just me and not my family visiting.

We stayed here for 5 days 4 nights. This is our 14th time in Fort Lauderdale and we usually stay at Hilton Fort Lauderdale Resort.
The location on this hotel is amazing. Close to everything and right across the beach.
The staff is a bit rude. This is the first hotel that we stayed at that had rude staff especially at the pool area. They seem like they are miserable. They are annoyed with any question or request.
The rooms are outdated. The beds are not comfortable at all. I think they need to work on training the staff for customer service. The front desk staff was great.
Another thing, you have to come to the pool at 8:30am to reserve your chairs. Comes 10 o’clock you can’t find one chair. I’m guessing people buy day passes.
I don’t think we will book this hotel again. Sticking to Hilton Resort, had a much better experience. They had so many activities for kids and at Westin it seems like kids are the least priority.

Also if you are allergic to dust good luck! Dust everywhere. These pics are the first day we checked in. Gross

My overall experience with this property was very nice. At Check-in we were surprised with a complimentary upgrade to an ocean view room along with a voucher for 2 drinks and a desert from their on-site restaurant. Though we didn’t use all the available amenities there were lots to choose from. Storm the doorman was super nice and helpful too. The overnight valet was a little pricey but unavoidable as there are no other options. We were granted a late Check out request which was nice because it allowed us to enjoy a nice breakfast and a brisk walk along the beach before leaving. We will return soon!

This was the second stay I have had, and I found it to be a pleasant experience both times. The staff was always helpful and friendly. The beach access is fantastic. It’s located within walking distance to many places. A helpful tip; if you want to find a place at the beach or the pool, it is first come/first serve. We made a morning out of it by grabbing coffee at the Starbucks located in the hotel, went to the beach and watched the sunrise, and then meandered back and secured chairs at the pool, or waited in line to grab an umbrella and chairs at the beach. The restaurant located within the hotel is also an added bonus. Our go-to hotel while visiting Fort Lauderdale.

Great location. You just need to cross the road A1A to be on the beach sand. Hotel’s lobby was decent but the walkways need a major upgrade to reflect Westin brand. Rooms were comfy and service was prompt. There are two towers, North and South separated by an enclosed walkway/bridge. South tower is closer to the beach and has a Starbucks right underneath at Ground level. Parking is $45 valet and the hotel charges daily resort fee of around $45. Overall, we stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. Will return again.

The hotel is huge!! it is so beautiful. I am writing this review to comment a staff member at the front desk. Her name is Hannah! She is absolutely amazing, the most helpful hotel employee I ever dealt with! she was so helpful even after our stay when my father lost his jacket and she was able to locate it for us, Kudos to Hannah, you are fantastic!
