Erma and her staff were very helpful. For the most part all the workers are very helpful and generous throughout the resort. Others are not very willing to help. But they were all good people. I’ve had a wonderful stay food was 8/10. Amenities 10/10. I would recommend a stay here. The beach is very nice as well ! Be careful with the mosquitoes !!By Sky McCollum (a month ago)Great vacation 5/5. Food was great. Wide variety and flavourful. Deserts were over the top. Housekeeping was excellent. The evening entertainment was great although the volume in the theatre was too loud as it distorted the show. The only comment we would have – the front counter clerks are excellent. There just needs to be more of them on duty to handle the rush. ( long lineups for service in this type of resort are not acceptable)By John Luross (2 months ago)We booked this hotel based on some of the good reviews, what a mistake. Unfortunately, we experienced first-hand the issues raised in many of the bad reviews.
Bad Experiences:
· At check-in we queued in a line for 20 minutes before we were told we were in the wrong queue, there was no signage to indicate which queue we should be in and there was no apology. We then had to join the end of another queue, which took another 20 minutes. We finally checked in after an hour following arriving at this hotel, not what you want after an 8-hour flight, 2 hours to get through customs and transfer to the hotel. Yet no apology or even a welcome drink. In every hotel I have stayed at the check-in time is within 5-10 minutes.
. Staff in the restaurants and entertainment area stand over you to write a Google review of the hotel. They would bring over QR code with link and then watch over you whilst you wrote a review. Really bizzare, this is how they get so many of the good reviews.
· The shower in the room leaked.
· The vegetarian options were limited to pizza, pasta, chips and salad, being a vegetarian after day 2 I really started struggling with the food. If you are a vegetarian then do not go to this place.
· The food was not always labelled and vegetarian food was mixed with the meat, they did not always have enough serving spoons so people were mixing the vegetarian with the meat, which made my options even more limited.
· The coffee stations in the restaurant and other areas in complex never had mugs; you would have to speak to a number of people requesting these before someone was bother to listen to your request.
· Bowls were rarely available at breakfast even at 7:30am. We had to request these, again you would have to speak to a number of people before you came across someone who could actually be bothered.
· Staff would lie to you when they simply couldn’t be bothered one example at 9am there was no butter near the bread counter, I was told that it has finished, asked someone else they disappeared in to the kitchen and came back carrying on with what they were doing with no update, it was clear they had ignored you. Again, you would eventually find someone willing to help.
· Normally there is someone walking around the restaurant making sure that everything is in place, but they left the customers to request missing items, with staff that could not be bothered.
· This place did not run very efficiently from the front desk, restaurant and bar, given the number of staff, it lacked management guidance and training.Good Experience
· The room was dated but clean.
· The hotel grounds are lovely and are clean.
· The entertainment team and the general entertainment around the hotel was really good.
· The long stretch of beach is lovely.
· The pool areas are all very good.
· About 30% of the staff you came across were nice and worked hard.
· Plenty of sunbeds on the beach, but crowded and limited sunshade.By Kesh Pindoria (2 months ago)Our stay was everything and more that I could have expected. There was 4 adults and my 8 month old. And every detail of this vacation for all of us was perfect. I was nervous at first from the negative reviews but absolutely none of them were true for us. The whole resort was immaculately clean, the staff were the nicest people ever (& my son LOVED all the attention and love they gave him), food was great, beach and pools were amazing. We are seasoned travelers so we know good places and this was definitely top of the charts. If you are wondering whether to book- this is your sign to do it!By Heather Pejic (4 months ago)Check in took 3 hours and we arrived before checking time. Process can easily be improved with small adjustments. US & EU people are used to quicker and clearer processes, which benefits the service.
Staff is very kind and nice, but very underpaid.
It’s style is very outdated and everything needs a renovation. The buffet restaurant is very dark and depressing, especially for such a sunny and beautiful country. The scrambled eggs were green, I didn’t dare to eat them.
We had a good stay anyway, we had a last minute price which compensated a lot. I wouldn’t pay the regular price for this resort.By T P (2 months ago)

The resort was beautiful! From the moment I arrived to my last day everything was great. Customer service, excellent! Food was good. The only problem I had was with their animation group. Every week is the same thing and it was boring at night time…. they do have many things to do inside the resort but people travel to relax and have a good time. Night life sucks! Other then that the resort was excellent.By Sharis Tejada (4 months ago)My stay has been incredible from start to finish. The staff is so pleasant to be around and the level of services is impeccable. Its my second time here I can’t wait to come back with my family! definitely recommend getting the unique experience. Our butler Daniel has made every request come true. And the food! the best I have had in a all inclusive.100% would recommendBy melodie monrose (4 months ago)Stayed here during a friends wedding and the service was amazing. Staff was very accommodating and helpful.
I ate at the Gondola Restaurant on Monday (February 27) Candido and the team were the best! Very professional and knowledgeable. Some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Made great suggestions and was very friendly. If you are ever here you should definitely ask for him and his team!
A1! The best!
By Christian Onuoha (2 months ago)Great resort. Exceptionally clean. Very well manicured grounds. Service is exceptional, staff is super friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. The food is about a 3 star. Better than the average all inclusive. We stayed at the Unique. Our butler ,Victor was fantastic in helping us and arranging anything we needed, super friendly. I think it was worth the $$.
There resort is huge, so bring your walking shoes. I had to rent a scooter because of my bad hip. Everything is very accessible.Definitely recommend
By Eric S (2 months ago)We really enjoyed our stay here. Domingo and Claribel in the adults only pool/bar side. We’re our favorite bartenders. . They are both so friendly and the drinks were amazing. The resort was really nice, super modern and clean and all of the staff members we met were so friendly. Definitely recommend staying here. We can’t wait to go back!By Mirela Podzic (a month ago)

Beautiful resort. The beaches are wide and very long. The water is clear, no rocks. There was a bit of seaweed, but the staff did a great job cleaning it up. Plenty of chairs and shade from the trees on the beach. All staff very helpful. Very kind friendly. Loved most shows at night, very entertaining for all ages. Food was stellar. Great reservation restaurants. The buffets were really busy everyday. Hard to find a table for breakfast and lunch. We paid for the premium, well worth it. The breakfast and lunch at the premium restaurants did not have as great of a selection of the menu and buffet. Not kids friendly options. Great place to vacation.
This resort has so much potential but lacked in many crucial areas. I’m actually shocked by all the positive reviews. We have traveled to multiple all inclusive resorts and this was our least favorite. Our biggest disappointment was there was absolutely no service provided at the pool, for drinks or food. Food at the pool wasn’t even an option. The only place to eat breakfast or lunch is the buffet, every single day, and the buffet food was not very good. Only one pool bar for the entire pool to share, no bar even close to the beach. No room service (additional cost). The staff was not friendly like most resorts, they seemed bothered to help you (and yes, we tip!) We only had two good meals (Italian and Japanese restaurant) the entire week. The beach and the grounds were beautiful and we made the most of our trip. But to pay the money we did was disappointing. Definitely not a resort I would recommend or ever go back to. I will add, we stayed on the family side not adults only. Apparently the adults only side had more services offered….I wonder who paid more for their trip?? Keep looking!!
This was one of the most beautiful resorts we have been to. It has such great potential but it lacks on so many important areas that it was one of the best/worst experiences we had.
1 service was so Bad my family and I can remember the names of the 12 people who gave us an excellent or decent service, I will say only 15% of staff is really nice and has REALLY GOOD COSTUMER SERVICE.
2. The No food at the pool or the 0 Bars near the beach is a REALLY BIG MOOD KILLER.
This place has great potential the rooms were neat clean and everything was beautiful and clean. But they really need to improve those aspects that are Keeping them away from being as great as they can be.
As a side note the show they have every night is a great show and the Michael Jackson show made me and my two little brothers wish we were able to go back in time and go to one of his concerts.
It’s a beautiful resort with lots to do. Beach has lots of palm trees and large, but the chairs fill up fast. There are lots of sea weed and so we never got in the water. There are several nice pools, but no food service. The food was good, nothing amazing but lots of choices are available. This is the largest all-inclusive resort that I’ve stayed at, and I’m sure that is why they don’t offer some things that smaller all-inclusive resorts can offer. Very few workers understood English, and it made it difficult to order food at the restaurants and communicate. The rooms are OK. We stayed in room 1009, and it was not bad except one morning we had raw sewage back flowing into our bathtub. They were quick to get it fixed, but it was nasty. It was good, but with so many other resorts to visit, I don’t think we would return again.
The rooms are less than par. Not what was described to me when I booked the reservation. I bought the Premier i could not get into any restaurants the food was absolutely horrible. I have never stayed at an all inclusive that was this horrible usually they are wonderful. The staff never smiled except for the food staff servers and that they were wonderful. All other staff their head within their phones and no one smiled no one said hello. The premier staff was downright rude. This hotel was not accommodating at all. I was so disappointed I wanted to leave after the first day but they would not refund my money of course not. Do not waste your money go somewhere else. They were fighting in the hallway and a lot of drunk people I had to call security and we met other families and they had the exact same problems that food bad service and they had to call security. Anyone interested I have pictures
