  1. Just returned from an amazing week at this hotel. Rooms are massive and cleaned every day, fridge in room with water, pop, crisps and chocolate on arrival. The pools are great (very busy though), kids had a great time in all of them. The food was amazing, so much choice for all mealtimes and all fresh. The staff are lovely and work so hard. The entertainment team and kids club are all fantastic and the shows at night were excellent. Would highly recommend.

  2. Not for me.
Some of the staff was really nice but some were done with the season. The food was terrible and very little vegan options.
Room was smelly. When I couldn’t sleep bc of it I went to reception and instead of giving me a new room I had to wait 1hr outside of my room because it was too smelly to be inside before they could fix it. Wasn’t really fixed. The drainage smelled everyday.
Giving it 2 stars because of some people making am effort and the location is nice. Prepare to walk a lot. The hotel area is hugs.

Has great potential. A bit more motivation for the staff at end of season. Better cleaning and fixing drainage and definitely more vegan and healthy options at the buffet.

  3. The team was great. The restaurant staff, as well as the cleaning ladies, reception and management were super friendly and helpful. They all love kids, which is great when you are on vacation with your baby for the first time. Do your best to keep this team because they are great!

Initially we were placed in a very small studio with an open terrace and concrete steps to the pool. Far from ideal if you’re out and about with a running 1-year-old. We upgraded to a 2-room apartment. Despite it may not be new, it was totally fine for us. It was clean, spacious and all facilities were there.

The first half of our vacation the food was amazing! We loved the wide choice and especially the local cuisine. Unfortunately, it was very clear that the season was coming to an end. In the second half of the holiday, the offer was halved and mostly the same. If we had known that in advance we would not have booked all-inclusive. Also many ice creams, drinks, etc. were no longer available. Which was a disappointment for us. We also don’t think having to pay extra for beach beds and wi-fi is compatible with an all-inclusive hotel. Then it is better to raise the price slightly and include these things in it.

I hope this will be handled differently in the future because otherwise we thought the stay was fantastic. The resort in well maintained, green and uncluttered. The beach is lovely and there is a lot to do for small children.

Despite the feedback points, we enjoyed ourselves and we certainly hope to return again!

  4. Warning: curtains are not blackout! Fridge in our room was warmer than the room. But the view from the balcony was spectacular. Good kids facilities. Food good, could be better for vegetarians (no meat substitutes) but well labelled so there’s always something to find. Direct beach access from bar area down some steps. Lovely sandy beach. Transfer from airport was quicker than expected (about 45 mins). Not all drinks available for free with all inclusive (see menu attached).

  5. I don’t no we’re to start with this place
1st of all our rooms was not ready soon arrival that was 3 rooms for a family of 9

The food was awfull my children hardly ate and we had to spend more money
This is a 2 star hotel not 4 when arriving

Cockroaches on our balcony and rooms was filthy and did not change our beds and our towels we had to ask!

Entertainment team very friendly and the best bit about the hotel credit to them

1 bar and 1 restaurant open I get we are not in season but the hotel was at full capacity and also no spa open so did not have a relaxation part which i love to do.

Disappointed that using left overs for the next day! I get waste but doesn’t taste fresh!
Brekky come out brand new but was freezing cold! It was an awful holiday and would never return to this hotel!

The pools are very small. And not enough umbrellas completly sold the wrong holiday! I paid £180 to upgrade me room and after 2 days they gave me a refund. I honestly can not wait to get back to the uk the views however are amazing and the beach was very lovely off the hotel.

A truly beautiful place, the veiw of the bay were amazing, the water was warm and the beach so clean and maitained. The food was top notch, and the rooms were clean and on point. The staff so helpful and friendly. There many local bars close by, and plenty of shops to boot. Ideal location if you want a quite time, but with the knowledge yo can get to the other side of the island in under 45mins on local transport.

Absolutely great staff! We were upgraded to a deluxe room over looking one of the pools and the beach. It was big, modern, well laid out and immaculately clean.

The food for the all inclusive had wonderful choice and was easily accessible but lacked taste. You could tell it had been dulled down with no salt or spices trying to cater to everyone but we are on holiday we want the Spanish tasty food!

The hotel lobby and restaurant need a face lift they are old and dated. They should match the wonderful bedrooms.

The pools are great! The kids water park areas is wonderful. The beach is beautiful and literally next to the hotel with easy access. They do make a great effort at doing nightly entertainment for grown ups and kids. We had fun several of the nights hanging out at the bar.

The cocktail are good as well.

    I would go back!

Unfortunately in July we had to wait 2 hours after the check-in time, until we could get in our room. This service was not very good arranged. Furthermore, the cook Gaby cooked a vegetarian meal especially for us, and this was a very good service. Still all the Jose’s (waiters) did make our holiday. They were all incredibly friendly, and worked hard, maybe to hard! Thanks to these good services we had a great holiday!

Paid plenty under Covid rules. Been here before, was much better. Now, it’s disappointing. Staff is tired, one day some are waiters, next day the same one are chefs in the pool snack bar. For 4 days in a row, tried the rice and it was uncooked, just to convince myself. You don’t starve but it’s not even 3stars restaurant. They can do better than that. I guess they can’t be bothered, since they are going to close in October for refurbishment till 2023.Towels in the room, are clean but look like overused. Some of the staff, friendly indeed, some very rude, you can see they are tired, but that is not the customer’s fault, one waiter shouted at me, two days in a row, for nothing basically. Entertainment, very poor. I would say, try a different option to avoid disappointment. As I was here before and it was much much better, I see a big difference.

Nice hotel, helpful staff & great location!!
We were travelling with a toddler so somethings were alittle disappointing like no fridge, kettle in the room & the bars on the balcony in the deluxe room were to wide to let my little one out.
It is all inclusive but these little things when travelling with children would have made life alot easier.

Beautiful hotel. Food was delicious and drink choice for all inclusive was excellent. Hotel staff always went above and beyond, we had a room upgrade and greeted with smiles and kindness from start to finish. Can’t wait to come back

Lovely stay. Great food and such a nice area in Ibiza. Away from the busy areas but not too far from lovely restaurants.

The hotel has all the amenities that you need, very clean and well kept. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. All the staff are very friendly and more than happy to help with any information needed. The is good with a good selection. The location is excellent and the coastline is very pretty. The entertainment is great and the entertainment staff are fabulous too. Especially Pani who is a credit to the hotel.
Carlos from Galithea has been very welcoming and full of useful information and he is also a credit to the hotel.

Lovely hotel and good buffet style food, varying theme every night. Pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. International clientèle, so not just UK. Various freebees like Paella demo and taste, cocktail demo/making and tasting ( 1 day). Other occasional free drinks. Excellent free swimfit and spinning classes every day, free gym Varying evening entertainment. Nice staff, most multilingual in three or more languages, friendly and helpful.

The Iberostar Selection is a typical pool-/beachhotel although there is no direct beach access available.
We stayed here for a couple nights to finish our Ibiza holidays at a relaxing and comfortable location. Though we enjoyed our stay our overall expectations were not met unfortunately.

    General:
The hotel is clean and modernized. The staff were friendly, especially Angie from guest relation service who is always looking out and seems genuinely invested into every guest’s experience. Though there were sometimes communication issues when the staff did not understand individual questions. Communications beforehand via email were mainly ignored or answered superficially. We wanted to celebrate our anniversary and the end of our holidays. In the end we expected more and did not feel welcome or taken care of.
The pool area offered space to relax but not enough sun lounges if the hotel is fully booked. The beach was kinda off and without infrastructure or sun lounges. Also a Bar next to the beach was permanently closed apparently for several weeks or months already. The hotel is working to be plastic free which is a welcoming concept

    Rooms:
The rooms were clean, tastefully furnished and offered new and modern amenities including modern air conditioning. However the rooms are a little bit small and you can see the superficial refurbishment as paint is coming off of walls and doors. The bathrooms were spacious and the rain shower was nice.

    Food:
We had half-board and were able to enjoy breakfast and dinner buffets. The dinner buffet offered a variety of freshly cooked choices from meat to fish and many vegetarian options. There was also different pizza and pasta options daily and a changing theme to add variety and alternatives.
The breakfast offered a generous selection of breakfast standard options hot and cold. We were missing some highlights that other hotels might offer and were disappointed that there was no fish option like smoked salmon or anything at all. The coffee came from self-service machines and did not taste well unfortunately, very bitter and the milk options tasted very sweet, usually a sign of milk powder instead of fresh milk. Overall we were a little bit disappointed with the breakfast. Other hotels in the same category do offer more and selected highlights.

    Rooftop Area:
The highlight of the hotel is the rooftop area with a small but very refreshing pool. The whole place is tastefully furnished and offered lounge chairs, sun lounges, lounge beds and amazing views including sunset behind the mountains. Though a place that saved our holidays in this hotel it is not a unique selling point as other hotels offer similar areas. The rooftop area is exclusive to the star prestige rooms, one of the higher room categories.

    Star Prestige:
Overall this was a bit of a letdown. We upgraded at check-in and were told we had a bigger room which was not the case. According to the website, the selling point are personalized services which were simply not there. There was no separate check-in or someone walking us through the facilities and explain everything. No turndown services or slippers in the room. Apparently discounts on spa treatments but I wouldn’t know because I was never shown the treatment menu even though I asked for that via email before arrival. Also you were supposed to be able to order drinks and snacks all day which implies some sort of service but that was never an option. Apart from the open bar there were only a couple hours with real snacks and everything was self-service.
It was nice but too many things the hotel advertises on their own website were missing. It felt scam ish. Getting the free late check-out was a real struggle.

    Summary:
We enjoyed our stay and luckily positive experiences were stronger. Overall we will not be coming back as the hotel offers no real highlights. Our recommendation is to really check alternatives as the hotels location is not the best as well.
