  Absolutely phenomenal is all I can say! From the first moment you arrive you are treated so wonderfully and every single encounter I had with staff members was amazing! The grounds at the resort are meticulous, the food was great, and the entertainment every evening was a lot of fun! Our room came with the excellence club perks, and we took advantage of the private beach with concierge service. Gerardo and Victor on the beach were so friendly and blew me away with their constant smiles, laughs and top notch service! If I could give 6 stars I would… amazing!!!

  Our stay at Excellence was wonderful! Elias looked after us as pool concierge… And not enough nice things can be said about our server, Martha! We were well taken care of and are ready to book our next trip… #6!!

  The food here is outstanding (we went to agave twice!), and the drinks are plentiful and good. It’s clean, pretty, and we have literally not met a person that worked here who is anything less than pleasant.

  One piece of advice… Go with Excellence club… The benefits are all worth it, and you are extra well taken care of.

  This place is flawless! The staff are all friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean & spacious! The food is delicious and the drinks were perfect. We especially loved hitting up the martini bar at night. The pools are clean & beautiful with many options for a beach view. The hot tubs are perfectly placed throughout the main pool area and the swim up bar is a blast! We cannot wait for our next visit. Thank you for a truly exceptional stay!

  This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at, no exaggeration. The grounds and hotel itself are immaculate, they evidently work round the clock to ensure nothing is ever out of place.

  The rooms are large and lovely – we had a swim out room and loved our poolside deck. Mini bar facilities are amazing, beers, water, juices, wine and then the full liquor bottle selection as well.

  Restaurants are so varied and so much choice – the menus are great and you have lots of options for every meal, especially dinner. Our favourites were the buffet for breakfast, Lobster House or the pool bar pizza for lunch and for dinner we loved Spice, Agave and Magna. However I can’t fault any of them. The food quality is very good.

  The drinks and drinks service is exemplary. We were near the Sol Bar and got amazing service from the waitresses.

  The beach and pools are both great. Lots of gorgeous sand, of course some seaweed but nothing dramatic.

  We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to return.

  Excellent service. Customer service is unmatched- every employee we had interaction with was friendly, personable, and made it the most comfortable – the best part is it all seemed very genuine.

  Room was always restocked and tidied while we were away enjoying all the amazing views and food the resort had to offer.

  Room food service: the evening menu could be slightly improved however breakfast is exceptional.

  Chez Isabelle was delicious.

  The entire stay was extremely relaxing from the moment our driver greeted us from the airport to being dropped back off for

  Came here on vacation with friends and right off the bat we had issues with transportation. We reserved the free shuttle service included with the hotel and our other friends paid for the shuttle service through the hotel to get faster service. When we arrived in Mexico, only their names were on arrival signs but no staff members in sight. We waited over half an hour and no one showed up before we started calling the hotel. First they tried to blame us for not being at the right location, even though we were standing next to the signs with our friend’s names on it. Then, when the lady finally showed up over an hour after we landed, she loaded another family on to a shuttle and told us to wait to the side. It was almost 2 hours before she got us on a shuttle to the hotel. The room we got looked decent but there was a connecting door to the next room that was not sound proof at all. We could hear all the conversations next door, as I’m sure they could hear ours. The beds were alright, but the feather pillows were horrible. I woke up with a sore neck every single morning. If you come here, bring your own pillows. The food in the restaurants were rather hit and miss. The basic foods were pretty tasty, but oftentimes when we tried to order something fancy or special, it would come out sub par. The pool was nice and the servers were very friendly and helpful. Even when we went to the beach, the servers would go out of their way to help us and bring drinks to us. We realized later in the stay that most of the drinks were rather watered down, but they were quite tasty so we were ok with it. The spa is also quite nice. We got massages and used the hydrotherapy spas. Those are definitely top notch. However, be very careful about the pricing if you make any modifications as they will mess that up at checkout. Overall the view is great and the beach is great but then again, the view and beach are also great at many of the other resorts in the area. Would probably go back to one of those and not the grand palladium again.

  It was a great experience at this resort. The place is huge, lots of food choices, the staff were very friendly and we had no problem pre-booking restaurants. My favourite restaurant is the seafood buffet, steakhouse, and coffee place. The only downside I would say about this place is the sales speech to buy their membership, but you get rewarded with massage and spa experience which was well worth your time. Overall, amazing experience. Highly recommend it and would definitely come back! 🙂

  Everything about this resort was luxurious and relaxing. The service was incredible from every single waiter, bartender and attendant and they really made you feel like family. Our favorite place to hang out aside from the swim up pool bar in the adults only section was one of the smaller bars and most beautiful pools at the PTC Pool area. The bartenders Morin, Carolina and Valentin were definitely our favorite of the trip and were so welcoming and kind and helpful with everything we needed. Can’t wait to come back here for another perfect stay away from the real world.

  The resort is aesthetically great. Great views, nice decor and overall very clean/ organized. However very disappointing in the basic quality of the food at most restaurants. For example we went to a Mexican restaurant in the resort. Unfortunately it was shameful and embarrassing to call it Mexican food. I had better Mexican food at the airport. It’s frustrating to pay good money and sit in a fancy restaurant with beautiful views/ decor and to eat low grade quality meals. It just ruins the experience.

  We loved this place. The beach was amazing. The carts are driving around all the time so you don’t have to walk so much from place to place. Workers were all so nice. We had an ocean view room and we also paid an upgrade to top shelf liquor and an adult only pool. The food at the pools was great. The food in the restaurants were just ok. The entertainment is awesome. Especially the people on the beach that brought us drinks and snacks. So nice and happy to make sure we are having a good time. Would totally recommend this place. Shout out to Ricky and Carlos so very awesome!
