Amazing place and the food is just delicious! we enjoyed the yummiest catch of the day with fresh pasta and tomato sauce… loved it so much that we’re getting dinner here tonight! The staff is super friendly and you see all the locals eating here… the views are just breathtaking! We’re also staying at the hotel for 2 nights and it’s gorgeous. Makes you travel through time. The hotel is stuck in the rocks and is super charming and clean. The service is more than amazing! Thank you both Luigis for making us feel like at home. I also love that is not in the middle of a town as everything else is super crowded! 5 minutes walk and you can get a lovely beach too. 1000% recommend! Service top, cleanliness top, very charming, good location… just perfect!!!!By blancabertely (6 months ago)Amazing!!!
The place looks so much better than the pictures. The whole property really is something special, since it is made into a rock and you get to use their private beach, which is really rare on the Amalfi coast, especially for this price / night. We rented a boat and it picked us up at the hotel which was so nice. Each room has a private (or shared with max 2 rooms) terrace overlooking the sea and cliffs so the scenery is truly breathtaking. Also, the hotel offers free parking!
Then there is the people who make this hotel even more special. The owner Luigi greeted us straight away ad made us feel like home. We spent 4 nights in the hotel and had dinner twice. The dinner was very nice and reasonably priced. Everyone working there helped us a lot and made us feel very comfortable during the whole stay.
La Locanda del Fiordo was really the highlight of our Italian trip!!
We will definitely come back next year.
By Aljaž F (7 months ago)Food was delicious and super reasonably priced, had a simple lemon and shrimp risotto after a seafood soup which was amazing. House wine was really good and very well priced. Beautiful views of the sunset and the lights of Praiano and PositanoBy Josephine Bloor (7 months ago)Great seafood and pasta, stunning view. Staff were excellent and so friendly. We called in from the beach without a reservation and was not disappointed. Unpretentious food cooked very well. loved it.By JJ PB (9 months ago)We tried the restaurant, amazing view directly on the sea!
The place is close to Amalfi, but far enough to maintain its authenticity.
Food is just what you would like to get: fresh fish and very good limoncello.
Recommended especially for a romantic dinner!By Vincenzo Adamo (9 months ago)

In August 2017 we drove across the mountain from Pompeii to the Amalfi Coast without a booking and found this hotel overlooking the most spectacular cliff views of the Mediterranean you can imagine. They gave us a booking with a top floor room on the corner. With scenery beyond belief the aged nature of the room didn’t bother us.
We only stayed one night but can’t wait to go back again. Simply the most memorable view we have ever enjoyed anywhere in a motel room.By Gordon Buckland (2 months ago)We had two days here and are in love. The hotel employees are more than kind and super nice! The guests are always treated well and looked after.
The pool bartender / waitress is super cute and very nice, he always tried his best to make everything possible.
The view is one of the best!
Way to the hotel is very curvy and tiny streets, just need to be careful there.By S C.B (7 months ago)The one thing I regret is not being able to spend more time at this hotel! It is so beautiful and new but the customer service from everyone makes it the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Transportation is reliable as there is a bus stop right in front of it. I’d definitely stay in this hotel again. Kudos to all workers, I absolutely loved your hotel!!By Beatriz Cintero (7 months ago)Very nice hotel being managed by the family. Very nice rooms and service.
The view is stunning.
The location is a little bit problematic due to nerow roads and lots of trafic. The hotel is up in the mountains and not so close to the sea.By Vered Minzari Lerner (6 months ago)We stayed for four nights and everything was great. Rooms are super clean, AC works well and the breakfast was good. Pool is big and really nice. You can take the hotel shuttle bus to Amalfi, Praia etc and it takes around an hour. Or you can rent a scooter nearby. Agerola is also a nice and calm town with plenty of restaurants around. Overall liked our experience, except that we were charged 5 euros for using a towel by the pool.By Liis Sokk (9 months ago)

The staff is really nice and friendly. The food tastes amazing, the price is a bit expensive but the view from the place and the quality of the food is up to the mark, so I think it’s worth it. The only suggestion I had is about the portion for some dishes (pasta) it could be increased a little, portions for other dishes (squid fry, roasted chicken with potato) are fine.
In general, I would recommend this place to anyone visiting amalfi.
I did not stay here at the hotel but I booked a reservation to eat here because it was somewhat close by and had great reviews. I never leave bad reviews but this place has me needing to… right from the start the service was poor, we shook it off… we ordered the “fresh garden” salad for our first course, it had absolutely no flavor and was just chopped up ice burg lettuce.:: I thought this restaurant was Michelin rated… and you can’t even serve a decent salad?? The only positive experience was that we made friends with the table across from us and they agreed that the service we received versus what they received was much worse… it took forever (close to 30mins) just for another glass of wine, which we kindly asked for multiple times. I understand times are hard and that things take a while, but when I look around and see that it’s only happening to us, it’s not right. When our food arrived, I took a few bites and it was so bland that I would’ve been happier with ravioli from a can… there was no way I could eat it (swordfish pasta) there was no flavor and tasted awful. I am NOT a picky eater by any means and feel that this was the first dish I have ever sent back. My friend had me try hers and it was very good (vegetarian pasta) so I kindly asked if I could replace my dish. They said no problem, I received the other dish and ate with delight. It still took forever for any service and wine refills. When we went to pay our bill is when the real problem began. I come from a customer service background and understand people can be difficult but they agreed to switch our meal yet charge full price (WAY over priced for a meal in Italy) for a meal I had to send back. It was very disappointing and I guess that’s what you get sometimes when a place seems too good to be true. Like I said, I’m not picky, I come from serving people and was truly dissatisfied with this experience.
We had lunch and dinner at the hosteria. The staff and management were excellent and the food and wines were spot on. Prices very reasonable and the food was local and typical of this area. The risotto at lunch was one of the best we have eaten ever, made from a local rice. Would thoroughly recommend and next time we would consider staying for a few days such was our posiitive experience
My husband and I did Marissa Cuomo wine tour and wine pairing dinner. We loved it! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Roberto, Luisa and especially Simona were wonderful , I highly recommend trying this experience. You will not.be disappointed
Everything was perfect. The room was clean and big enough. The view was amazing and Andrea was extremely professional and friendly.
