Nice resort, very peaceful. I would suggest more lights and signs specially for the car path. The guy at the reception was not really helpful, and twice somebody from the same reception complained about some tourists who didnt know English and only french. The quality of the accommodation was very poor. Rats were seen running freely around the perimeter of properties probably due to the overflowing bins The site is stuck in the distant past and has failed to move with the times. Its extremely family friendly and close to the beach which you can access by the free train. The apartment complex are a kictue of studio, villas and apartments. We stayed in a villa. The villa has most things you need. The facilities in our villa were a bit run down and somethings could do with a refresh. Howe if you remember the idea is to spend most od your time outdoors there really is no issue!

We have just got back from our holiday at Vale d’ Oliveiras. Beautiful, tranquil setting with friendly staff. Special mentions to Valentina, who was incredibly professional. My massage was one of the best I have ever had, and I loved the massage chair while I had a pedicure. Tania and the breakfast team gave us our coffee with a smile. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was exactly what we needed. A relaxing holiday in a beautiful place. All the staff we met were very friendly and welcoming. The food was reasonably priced, very tasty, and beautifully presented. We stayed mostly on site but did venture out for a day. The hotel organised a taxi for us and it came within 10 mins. The added touches in the room were great, and the ongoing supply of clean towels was very good. We loved our stay and will be back for future visits.By Tess Norrell (a month ago)Just returned. A pleasant experience. Everything was immaculate. Located in a remote area in the Algarve but not too far away from other places. All the employees were very helpful and courteous.
Fantastic complimentary breakfast and dinner was exemplary in their main restaurant.
My only gripe is the pool bar restaurants food was very very lacking in quality and very expensive.

We really enjoyed our honeymoon at this hotel. Friendly staff, stunning views and spacious rooms. Beautiful small cove easily accessed by steps just outside the hotel, however only able to get down onto the sand at low tide.
There is a short walk into the centre of the resort, a boardwalk along the cliffs and the 7 hanging valleys trails. Cliff walks are spectacular.
We stayed half board and the food was excellent. Pool bar is quite expensive but that is to be expected. Worth a trip!
Excellent. Stayed at the hotel for 6 days with family and friends. Room was cleaned twice a day, and was always provided with fresh robes and towels. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Surprised my aunt with cake and champagne at her room for her birthday with no notice from us, which was lovely from the hotel. I would highly recommend for families.
The hotel is secluded and it was located in a quiet part of the Algarve. The rooms were clean and modern and we had a partial view of the sea. In terms of service the only interaction was to order some food from the bar. This took a while and came out cold probably due to it not being picked up fast enough. The breakfast buffet was good and comprehensive and the view from our table of the sea was lovely.
We loved almost every aspect of our six nights there in January. Friendly staff. Reliable service. Immaculate rooms. Blissful bed. Overwhelming breakfast selection. Stunning views. Easy walk into restaurants and access to the cliff walks. The pool outside was obviously too cold. And the indoor pool was very small and not attractive to visit. My wife went to the sauna / spa area and said it was ok, but nothing spectacular either. After an encounter with an annoying male guest she did not return.
We found it overall great value and worth returning to but perhaps not in summer during peak crowds.
Even more beautiful than the pictures! Hotel services and grounds were wonderful. This place is ideal for nature lovers because the sounds, the views and the trails are just incomparable on the other hand if you just want to relax in luxury and stay in well you are also in luck! Beautiful place I am glad to have booked it even if it was on the low season.
