  Stayed here 3 nights. The hotel staff is all very welcoming. The rooms are basic and clean. The location is great for walking everywhere. Rooms have AC and it works very well. They also have secure parking. Not a guarantee during carnaval but on most days they will have parking for you. I like the Hotel Perla. Don’t come here if you want to be weighted on hand and foot. Come here if you want a nice room, parking, a very nice restaurant and perfect location.

  We stayed at La Perla for an entire month, and it was perfect for us. The hotel is clean; the staff is helpful and friendly, and the hotel couldn’t be more ideally located. There is a complimentary breakfast, served at La Terraza next door, of coffee, juice and bread, and you can also get 10% off if you order from the menu (breakfast only). In addition there is a pool, and a couple of great places to sit and watch the people stroll by on the Malecón. The rooms are by no means fancy, but the beds were comfortable and everything was cleaned daily.

  Decent prices and great location. Weird layout for views but nice terrace with recliners looking at the bay and Boardwalk. Rooms are typical basic old Motel 6 style nothing fancy but clean with good AC. The doors are not insulated so minimal privacy for sound. Free breakfast is toast, butter, jelly, coffee and juice. Restaurant has a good menu though

  We stayed here recently. The pool and hot tub are permanently closed (with no mention of this on the site anywhere). Also, there was no mini fridge in our room in a four star hotel? Also when we arrived in our room there was a dead cockroach in the middle of the bathroom, I don’t think they even checked it. The grounds aren’t all that well lit at night either, and every single bar at the marina was closed around 7/8 PM except for a restaurant that had what I wouldn’t even consider as a bar. I would recommend staying elsewhere in La Paz.

  I was at the bar and restaurant in the hotel. The Captains sunset bar and restaurant. Great live music, very friendly staff. I highly recommend it. The view of the sailboats and yachts is beautiful ❤️

  I made a reservation for a room for my husband. we have stayed here many times. He is currently sitting in a dark room because there is not power. He asked for a new room and was told they were trying to fix it. It could take 5 hours. So, did they give him a new room? No they did not. This is
  NOT the way to treat guests. I emailed reservations and asked them to give him a different room or give me a refund. I have not heard one word from them. The septic system is not functioning correct either and the place smells like a sewer. It is so bad you can taste it. We will not be returning to this hotel. I advise anyone wanting to stay here not to.

  This is a four stars hotel due to the age of the building… certainly it may need some investment… with that being said…in service and location it is a five or even six stars hotel…. extraordinary people!
