This hotel is in a great location to explore Swansea. It’s a 10 minute walk from the town which is quite a nice walk through the marina seeing the boats. It’s walking distance to the theatre too. It’s also on the front of Swansea Bay which a long stretch of sandy beach to walk on. It’s easy to get too and sign posted to find the hotel.

The staff are friendly and welcoming – Monica was very talkative when I checked in and managed to check in mid morning which was great to get changed and wrapped up for our Christmas market and winter wonderland weekend. Aj was happy when we checked out to, she asked if we were happy with our stay and mentioned a refurbishment within the New Year (rooms and restaurants for about 5/6 months apparently)

The rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped with a wardrobe, storage, chair and table, TV, radiators, bathroom with toilet, shower and bath. We had a deluxe king room overlooking the marina (some rooms have to be payed extra for)

There is a bar and grill too, laid back atmosphere which made you feel comfortable..

Plenty of parking – need to register car reg when checking in. Can also park there if not staying there which is £2 for a hour.

    Would recommend this hotel 🏨

Although slightly dated, very clean with positive staff. Looked after a whole group of ex soldiers attending a reunion.
They were provided a lovely room and the food was very good.
Downside was the room was quite warm and couldn’t open the windows, plus a noisy toilet. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

Have been coming here over many years but not since 2019. Lovely reception and bar staff. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the rooms. We were given room 401, a corner room. The rooms and bathrooms are very tired and dated and haven’t changed in years. We could not open any windows, the one being screwed shut and the other had a handle hanging off and would not open. Still cannot understand how the hotel can get away with this, surely its a health and safety hazard. I did mention this to the receptionist who said that this is the case in some of the rooms and found us another room with windows that did open, albeit only a little bit. Evening meal was average, very noisy and very busy. Breakfast used to be fantastic with loads of choice. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. The choice of food is nothing like as good and again, it was very noisy and chaotic. On the plus side, the receptionists and bar staff were lovely. It’s such a shame as the location of the hotel is fabulous.

Hotel was fine for a three night stay. Rooms and general decor/carpets badly need updating but things work. Breakfast okay, but could be better with a few more choices. Staff great. Please try and cook the morning Pastries properly-they weren’t.

I stayed at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Swansea and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was modern and stylish, with a wide range of amenities. The location was convenient, with easy access to all the best attractions and restaurants in the city. Overall, I would recommend the Delta Hotels by Marriott Swansea for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

We ate here after a wonderful day at Rhossili. The food was very tasty and the dessert was to die for! We had our dog with us and there was no problem sitting on the terrace. The service was excellent and very friendly. With an incredible view of Worms Head and a lovely sunset we had the perfect end to a great day out.

We had planned to stay for a one nighter, but family members health went significantly south and cancelled trip day of arrival. Manager and Owner were completely understanding of situation and didn’t charge us for stay even though we missed cancellation deadline. I can not thank them enough as it is a challenging time for our family and this gesture was very much appreciated. Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location in Wales. Highly recommended for the location and amazing customer service.

A strong contender for the worst food in Wales. Greasy, under seasoned, unimaginative and overpriced for what it is. Excellent Beer, but the foods an insult to one of the most glorious views in Wales.

The circa 1980 menu plainly hasn’t been properly reviewed, tasted or updated since. They’re not alone in this – many pubs have a similar menu, but the lack of effort and imagination in such a beautiful spot is depressing.

Come for the beer and a view that drew Dylan Thomas time and time again, but eat somewhere else.

What a fantastic bar, decided to spend a day in Rhossili and everyone at The Worms Head made my day a great one. Special shout-out to Arleta for being such an amazing barmaid and to Adrian for a startling hospitality. Thank you for today and I want come back when ever I get a chance 🙂

After a walk on the beach and out towards Worms Head we decided to pop in for coffee (and after some thought some chips). The staff were polite and welcoming and the chips and coffee were good. We enjoyed our visit and the spectacular views.

  1. Dated room, with wallpaper curling off the wall. Shower was too hot! Drinks were ridiculously expensive (11.50 for a double vodka and coke!). Food at a wedding was not hygienically stored. Just left sitting out. Service was slow. DJ was rude, and didn’t like requests(!).
Breakfast was OK. But was made to feel fat when staff asked if we’d like to sit closer to the food. He didn’t ask anyone else this. And thought it was a bizarre question!
The bride had booked suites for 2 nights, and hotel lost their booking, and had an attitude when this was challenged!
It’s saving grace is its beautiful location. But, overall, very overrated…

  2. Stunning location. Dissatisfied with room as given a 2 bed caravan when a 3 bed was booked (9 months ago) and had to go to reception at 11pm to get extra bedding for sofa bed. Missed all the fun disco songs at reception. Also the price of drinks was disgustingly expensive considering it was cheap wine served at £9.75 a glass which tasted like vinegar! The wedding was amazing but because of the people at the wedding. The food though was absolutely delicious 😋 ultimately we had a wonderful time but not because of anything “extra” provided by this conveyor belt wedding destination!

  3. Very nice room in the Ivy Cottage and very nice staff and a super breakfast but we were extremely disappointed with the Bistro. Very small and limited choice at extortionate prices. Made even worse by only having one burger left at 6pm. It was nice but so small!! The staff were great, both attentive and pleasant but they were let down badly by the chef and the limited menu. Shame really as it used to be so good and the location is fabulous and has so much to offer. Improve the food offerings and they are on to a winner!!

  4. Oxwich Bay Hotel is one of my favourite hotels to work as a wedding photographer. I have shot many weddings here and I’ve always had a great experience. Rain or shine there is somewhere beautiful to have wedding photos! The management and staff have always been so friendly and helpful and the food is to die for! The last wedding I shot there recently the manager and staff couldn’t do enough for us during a storm, they helped get the bride and groom to the beach for their photos which turned out to be great fun, even though it was lashing down! The front facing rooms have the most amazing views of the beach. Can’t wait to come back soon for more weddings! Photos attached for reference 🙂

  5. We got married at this beautiful venue on the 09/03/23. Communication in the build up to the day was plentiful and any questions we had (there we many! ) were dealt with quickly 😊 As for the day itself itself – we were blown away by both the venue and the amazing staff, who were on hand throughout the day & ensured the day went smoothly. Special mention to Charlotte who went above and beyond on the day and put a very nervous bride at ease! We would recommend this beautiful venue to any couples looking for their perfect beach wedding. Even though it rained all day we had the most stunning photos as the setting & views are simply gorgeous. We can’t thank the wedding team at Oxwich Bay enough for helping us create the most wonderful memories on our special day. We will treasure them forever 💖 Best wishes, Mr & Mrs White xx
