Love the rooms, love the view, wish the food matched it. The property is perfect for relaxing. They have snorkel gear, kayaks and stand up paddleboards included. The water at the beach here is calm, warm and very inviting. Lot of cool, colorful fish to see snorkeling and kayaking.. The rooms all have private outdoor patios, amazing views, and comfy beds. The crystal clear lagoon water with its abundance of tropical fish are beyond words. The water is the correct depth where you can actually stand and enjoy the fish all around you. We didn’t have any outstanding dishes which you’d expect for the high food prices. We found the meals to be better at other places on the island.
The snorkelling on the other hand was incredible. We have explored all around Moorea and found the corral to be the most healthy at the Sofitel beach.
You are able to snorkel right from the beach and find live, relatively colourful coral – incredible!The staff were friendly.
I would’ve stayed at this accommodation for longer if there were more activities offered like at other hotels. We could not have asked for a better experience from our stay at Le Bora Bora. The property is very well kept and clean. The staff members offer exceptional service. From the moment you are picked up from the airport, they go above and beyond to pamper you. We loved the amenities the property had to offer particularly the concierge services and the shuttle boat access. We took advantage of upgrading our dinner one night to the 5 course dinner at the special restaurant (forgetting the name) and enjoyed the experience!
We loved the sunrises but especially the sunsets while walking to dinner each night. The colors of the sky are unreal! The views are endless from all areas of the property so definitely take a stroll to experience it all.
A special shout-out to Mao (the front desk is queen) for going above and beyond and answering all the questions we had throughout our stay!
We can’t wait to come back!!

The food was great, we loved the breakfast buffet, pool side lunches from MIKI, and Polynesian dinner buffets also. There was always a daily activity to keep you entertained/learning something new about the Polynesian culture, and the dinner shows were great as well. The beach and pool area were beautiful. We stayed in an over the water bungalow and loved it. All of the local excursions were really fun too. The hotel was great from picking us up on a boat from the airport, to everything else following. Le Bora Bora is everything you could dream of for a trip to paradise.
With the most breathtaking outlook of Bora Bora, the resort captures both luxury and the beautiful Tahitian culture. No detail has been missed, with the property’s symbolism, fragrance and colours woven throughout the design and landscape. I had the privilege of going on a resort tour, and it is full of special stories to discover during your stay. The grounds are stunning, and filled with so much greenery. Whether you are on the beach by the lagoon or amidst the trees and flowers, you are surrounded by beauty and peace.
Staying in an Overwater Bungalow is an experience in itself. The Bungalows are spacious, beautifully decorated with expansive decks to make the most of the lagoon. My favourite feature was the placement of the windows looking down into the lagoon, which gives your Bungalow a sparkling and peaceful ambience.
I especially loved the window at the foot of the bed, and the coral placement beneath, so there were always fish around. Each Bungalow has a coral plantation beneath the bed window, so that everyone can see the lagoon life below – such a thoughtful touch!
The property’s bars and restaurants were also amazing, and the food was of the highest quality. Local flavours and ingredients created into the freshest and most flavourful dishes. I only wish I stayed longer to try more!
All of this is elevated by the staff who always greet you with genuine warmth, friendliness and care. The level of service and attention was outstanding, even when the resort was nearly at full capacity.

Our stay was great. Dropped a star because the check in and check out process was very poor. We had arranged to be collected from the ferry but the driver had no record of our name. Thankfully they had room and took us anyway.
Then when we got there we were handed a room key with no other info. Had to ask another member of staff where to go (it’s a big place) as the original staff member didn’t understand us properly.
Then on checkout we asked to book a day-room after we checked out so we could shower after the beach. We were told “no problem”. Arrived back at the agreed time and was told “you can’t book day-rooms, it’s first come first serve”.
Then we had the same issue with transportation as we did on arrival and ended up having to pay for our own taxi back to ferry.
Also as we were checking out we seen new guests arrive and they were given lays and champagne and a cold towel. We got none of that.
Apart from all that, the 2 days we actually spent there were very nice. It was just a bad start and a bad end to an otherwise great hotel.
The grounds and views from the Hilton Moorea were gorgeous! It felt very quiet and serene. There was a nice variety of restaurant and food options and they even have happy hour every day in the main bar. We stayed in one of the garden bungalows which was a really nice large size with updated amenities. We found that the private pools didn’t offer very much privacy though and the outdoor deck space was a bit weathered. However, this didn’t detract from our stay as we enjoyed the rest of the facilities and preferred to spend our time on the gorgeous beach!
What a beautiful location. The front desk was very quick and efficient with warm hospitality. Everyone was very helpful around the property.
We splurged on the over-water bungalow and it was definitely worth it. Snorkeling right off your deck but convenient to the property center. The room was nice with my only negative being the bathroom is too open to the main room.
The food was decent and although it gets mundane after a couple days it’s really one of the best options on the island. The breakfast buffet was a nice option and the weekly show had a nice dinner spread with fun entertainment.
If you’re thinking about booking the Hilton Moorea I highly recommend it.

Loved the stay here! Absolutely beautiful. Great location with lots of coral / snorkeling just below the bungalows. Loved that there were kayaks and paddleboards included in the cost. I wish there were glass bottom kayaks! The lounging deck chairs were incredibly uncomfortable. Wish they had cushions we could pull out! Also I did not like the hotel information only being available on the TV. It was hard to navigate. If you don’t want to provide paper guides, you could provide a QR code we scan for a website with info.
